Нормальная стрельба, бодрая музычка. Похуже Ion Fury, в целом хз че все недовольны, играется весело, на семерочку.
"Phantom Fury" is a linear retro shooter blending elements of both modern and classic FPS. While it has its minor gameplay problems like no quicksaves, only sparse checkpoints, inconsistent sound design and relatively bland music, it still manages to be an enjoyable, challenging and nostalgia evoking game. The maps are nice (late game!), the puzzles aren't too tedious and the gunplay works well. Both the "Bile Launcher" and "Loverboy" with its auto-aim/homing projectiles add an interesting touch. An absolutely reasonable buy on discount. Score: 7.5/10
It's a nice old school shooter, a lot of references to classic titles, lots of fun. Strange to see it's not received as good a the previous game. I liked this one better.
4/10 "We have Half Life at home." Half Life at home: Nonsense story, confusing and dull level design, dull combat, dull exploration, weak weapons, uninteresting and boring enemies. At least it looks and sounds quite good but overall it's... Bad. And I came to this game with an open mind hoping for a decent early 2000-style shooter. I expected it not to be great but Phantom Fury confused the hell out of me with borderline incomprehensible storytelling (Why am I here? Why are those guys shooting me if I work for them? Why did they not shoot me when I entered the pub, and then started shooting me once mutants appeared?) slapped onto maze-like nonsensical levels (reaching a drop pod location that is right in front of you requires a 30-minute detour through underground bunkers) filled with totaly uninteresting combat. I'll try to force myself to finish this game but I have a nagging feeling I will drop it halfway through.
I'm torn in giving a score to this review. On one hand this is a top notch boomer shooter in all the essence that it needs to be. The gunplay is crunchy, punchy and has weight, the story is cool, everything in this game is great except for in more than just a few instances your left wondering WTF you have to do to progress. The game does a poor job sometimes in letting you know what items you need to interact with, they certainly dont look like anything special or out of place lol, you finally figure it out but not after youve burnt time trying to figure it out, too much time. That said its not a bad game, quite the contrary. This game is an extremely well made shooter and when its firing on all cylinders its F'ing fun and immersive. It does not deserve the hate that its got - Hopefully the devs make a sequel to this game or another game in the ION FURY universe. I really enjoyed my time with this title. Final Score: 8.5 / 10 - If you like UBER VIOLENT and BRUTAL SHOOTERS you'll be right at home here !
может позднее игра раскрывается, но начало вообще не очень
Overall a decent game although it lacks enemy variety and the physics are also completly broken. If you walk on top of a barrel or a cardboard box you are send flying at marc 5 through the map. The story is nothing to write home about and is fairly predictable, but it gets the job done and keept me invested enough to keep playing. Took me about 9 hours to complete the game on the default difficulty. Unless you are really into the universe I would wait a sale to get it.
Imagine someone who took a game development course on Unreal Engine and made this game. Everything about this game is bad. It's not even worth a dollar.
It's actually better than Ion Fury.
Good story, was surprised that there were vehicles in the game. Well Above average amount of weapons. Wish they introduced the cool ones sooner but that's a problem with all shooters. Some good boss fights, Could be lengthier. Some levels need waypoints or a map. 8 / 10 as a boomer shooter.
