Phantasy Star Online 2 New Genesis

I've been playing PSO2 for awhile, even on the original JP servers. It's got some of the best character creation ever. But ffs, they launched NGS and just screwed us. I'm the type of guy who prefers gameplay over story. I could forgive the whole-lot-of-nothing story NGS has and the fact that the story updates are basically 30 seconds of forgettable characters talking about ♥♥♥♥ you don't care about (I overlooked them screwing the story of the original when ep4 dropped iykyk), because the combat and creation was fun. But there's no real reason to play beyond dailies. No real story quests. Nothing to do in the open world (one of the regions being a ♥♥♥♥♥ to even get around imo), Bunch of quests with rewards that aren't worth it. Relying on limited-time quests with a ♥♥♥♥ all chance of getting a good weapon. Weapon/armor upgrades that imo are more trouble than worth to go for, just to do it again on the next patch. The only thing worth getting is cosmetics from the player shop, which costs a ♥♥♥♥ ton of meseta. If this game just gave some missions to play, PSO2 style, with a boss at the end, and rewards an amount of meseta that's actually worth considering, I'd be satisfied. If the Mission Pass could be leveled by tasks outside of dailies, I'd be satisfied. Give us SOMETHING, man! I love this game, but I can't recommend it to anyone tbh.
