Full of weirdo social ladder climbing sociopath freaks, don't bother, seriously incredibly toxic community. Game is fine, the people are not.
One of the first few games I played on steam when I first started my steam account back in 2010. Enjoyed it during my high school days and after replaying it as of this review, It is still a solid game to enjoy.
The game is back in the groove with updates, but so far Grey Havens hasn't delivered yet. There's a lot of behind-the-scenes updates and work to make the game run smoother, which is a big deal for a small team, but so far the promises and deals about new gameplay updates haven't been delivered yet. Meanwhile they release skins, cosmetics and lootboxes all over the place. Easy money. Would love if the game was less about gambling and genuinely brought back the main reason why many people installed the game in the first place: its aesthetically appealing gameplay. It's very similar to TF2, where the developers don't give a proper content update for years, but let the community do all their work with community maps, community hats, mindless crates upon crates, and profiting off those crates using people's gambling addictions. If they finally add content updates to the actual gameplay like they said, I will happily change my negative review to a positive one, given I am a years-long player. But for now, stick true to your word, and stop making easy money on gamble addicts in-game. It's really not deserved.

This game treats your time as if it has no value. Almost every event revolves around extremely low drop rates. It's common to spend 100+ hours during a single event and still not get the material or cosmetic you're farming for. Even when RNG isn't the obstacle, the currency costs are so high that you're expected to grind for countless more hours just to afford a single item. The game has barely evolved over the years. New updates are almost exclusively cosmetics, with little to no meaningful gameplay improvements, new mechanics, or quality-of-life features. The core experience feels exactly the same as it did years ago. To make matters worse, many cosmetics are locked behind limited-time events or disappear for years, creating artificial scarcity. If you miss an event, your only option is often to buy the item from veteran players at massively inflated prices. The economy is heavily dominated by long-time players who already own huge stockpiles of rare items and crowns. Newer players are left facing an enormous grind unless they're willing to spend real money to skip it. Spiral Knights still has charming art, music, and combat, but those strengths are overshadowed by an outdated progression system that relies far too much on excessive grinding and RNG. I wanted to enjoy this game, but I can't recommend it in its current state.
Cute little dungeon raid MMO about robot knights with guns, also with a TF2 hat reward!
The game mechanics feel really basic, though I haven't gotten very far into it. I decided to stop playing because once I got to the main city, it prompted me about buying real life currency to get better gear and I don't mess around with pay-to-win games.
Great game. A classic now all these years later. I hope they continue to add content and keep the game alive.
other than a amazing tf2 cozmetic ;D the game is genuienly very fun, it has good ui its not really that repetitive, and its online so i recomend it scince its frre after all.
This review is going to be awkwardly much shorter than my review for Operation Crimson Hammer. Most people have already reviewed this game to death and told you all about it. All I'm going to say is that this is effectively a better version and concept of The Legend of Zelda: Four Swords. This isn't, "we have four swords at home...." this is a massive evolution of that concept and honestly a much better one. This game, in its current state from when it was new, is very good. With the grind reduced and many of the worst pay-walled features completely removed or reduced to the point where they are not an issue, this game in 2026, the time I'm writing this review, actually quite good. This game has a ton of different weapons in it, many of which are kind of bad to use, but if you want to save grind and time, most of the users in this game can direct you towards the meta-picks if you want to be like that. That being said, everything is at least usable and the real difference between metagear and off meta is skill requirement to use. It all boils down to how brain dead do you want it, but at the highest difficulties, even with the best most meta gear in the game, this is not a cakewalk, not even a little bit. It also has a really fun Bomberman clone PvP game that is very hard to get a queue for unless you have enough people in your guild to just do it... But it is a ton of fun if you can get it going. If you want a randomized action dungeon crawler with puzzles and a story you can't go wrong. If you liked Four Swords, please just play this. As a side note, this game is supported by Gamble boxes, also known as loot crates. It really sucks that this exists and normally I would automatically give a thumbs down for games that do this... But it is very possible to enjoy this game without anything from those boxes as they are either cosmetics or gimmick weapons, mostly reskins aka cosmetics. If you have a weakness for looking particular in video games and using cosmetics, you might want to stick clear of this one.
