About

After an accident, you find yourself trapped in a labyrinth of narrow tunnels inside a cave. With no room to stand, your only option is to crawl your way toward the exit. In this first-person survival dungeon crawler, death lurks around every corner. Observe, plan and make use of every resource you can find to stay alive.

You are your own compass. To escape, you must chart your surroundings—but remember, every mistake could be your last.

At first, the tutorial level seemed simple enough that I thought I could breeze through the first level without the map, you know, just to give it a try for the day. Boy was I wrong. On my second go-around, I barely made it out by obsessively scribbling every tile I passed onto my map (I opened it 90+ times, according to the after-level screen). It was a challenge—tough enough to keep me playing longer than I expected today, but not so tough that it became really frustrating or anything. I’m looking forward to playing more; this is a challenging game I want to overcome. If I had to sum it up, playing this game put me in touch with the inner claustrophobe I never knew I had, and I want to get him out of that damn cave.
Recommended ✔️
As a casual player with limited time after work, I had a very enjoyable experience with PETRACAL. At first, coming from God of War (2018), the graphical contrast felt noticeable and even a bit negative, but as you progress, the atmosphere, art direction, and cohesive presentation quickly win you over. It’s a great example of how indie games don’t need cutting-edge graphics to be effective. The tutorial feels very forgiving, even limiting some mechanics to guide the player, which initially made the game feel too easy. However, once the game truly starts, resource management becomes important very quickly. Overconfidence will get you lost, out of supplies, and force a restart. Learning to manage resources, plan your route, and mentally map the levels becomes both necessary and rewarding. The game gradually introduces new mechanics and expands its levels, creating an old-school survival feeling where reaching your goal with limited resources is genuinely satisfying. Exploration, getting lost, and relying on your own sense of orientation are core parts of the experience. After 4 hours played, I’ve reached level 5 out of 6, and the experience has remained engaging and consistent throughout. If you enjoy atmospheric horror, exploration, and methodical gameplay, PETRACAL is definitely worth your time. For those who prefer a less punishing experience, the game also provides helpful tools like a map, compass, and coordinates. Bonus: The inclusion of an insect phobia accessibility option is a small but appreciated detail.

Petracal it´s a simple game when you first see it and a little unnerving when you know about it´s concept; when i tried it, i got in an atmosphere of pressure and being in an unknown territory, the game knows how to use its resources to make the levels in the game be challenging and require you to use the tools you are given in a somewhat strategic way, it´s rather short but it is kind of fun as a little puzzle game. P.S.: Also a great Sergio Martinez simulator, props to the model for the character.
A claustrophobic underground odyssey 10/10 -Buy-
Me encantó, super adictivo y recomendado!
Jogo BEEEEEEM interessante!
