Suprisingly addicting! Lovely artstyle with a nice soundtrack that keeps you playing over and over again for the next run!

A great survivor like in the works! It's quite unique, and challenging, compared to the many I have played. I'm particularly enjoying the gameplay where you have followers that deal damage, block, etc, rather than you yourself. This adds a layer of unit management because they do not all have the same movement speed as you, so you must kite appropriately and do your best to keep them in good positions. The meta progression isn't like many of the other survivors I have played. No, you do not keep all of your gold you collect between runs. If you want to buy an upgrades, like more starting followers or increasing their stats, you must collect enough gold in a single run to buy them. It is difficult and can take a few tries to figure it out and collect enough for your first upgrades, but its not unreasonable. To me, this alone sets it apart as you cannot just grind up gold with little to no effort, you must actually survive long enough to collect your gold in the run. It really feels good when you finally get enough to buy the next thing you need. Another form of meta progression actually does not require you do buy anything at all. Just simply play and as you finish runs you will receive unlocks for more content, enemies, bosses, events etc in future runs. It doesn't hold your hand and really just throws you in to figure things out yourself. There are shrines for buffs, health, you can find throughout the map, but it doesn't point them out or tell you exactly what buff you received. There is a level of mystery/uncertainty when playing that is able to keep you immersed. The art style is nice, and the visual effects add to the immersion of being in a dark/unknown place full of orcs coming after you. The developer has been responsive in the forums here on Steam and is welcome to feedback for improvements. I'm looking forward to watching this game develop into its full release.
