A cemetery filled with hostile creatures. A church that will not save you. Complex puzzles. The return to the school where everything began. And a fragile, intelligent girl with a thirst for revenge.
4/10
[EN]
It Had Potential...
Ok, soooooo I had mixed feelings about this game at first, I didn't know if I was going to recommend it or not, because... I liked the inventory mechanics, you can see that they are heavily inspired by Resident Evil, even the way we save the game. It had some puzzles here and there. You have to look for items, and the fight with the priest is easy once you find out what you exactly need to do. They talk a bit about Brazilian folklore, and I really liked that idea. The voice acting and animations are meh, but I understand because this is from a small company (that sadly closed not too long ago), so these are not a big issue. The main issue is how the game was poorly executed, and this is what made me NOT recommend it. It got boring sometimes, and the AI of the creatures was hella stupid, but sometimes they would spawn right on our asses, making it hard to escape. We cannot remap the keys, not in-game. The bugs - some of them were too stupid, like when I would get attacked on the loading screen and die, or when the rendering of some objects would take a while sometimes. But even so, I played it just fine in the first three levels until I got to the school level. It's not just creatures in hallways: it's a woman who spawns randomly and summons one of them to go after me; it's the killer who randomly spawns behind me, although he was slow, it forced me have to run way back because I was cornered by the other two creatures; and there is also a mysterious guy who draws traps that kill us. So, I got bored, I found some of these mechanics annoying, and I kept trying to progress, but these entities would randomly spawn at the most inconvenient moments. I just got tired of it. All of this was what made me give up, and it's sad because this game had potential. [PT]
Tinha Potencial...
Simplesmente cansei-me.

I just now completed the game. I must say for only costing me $5.99 it was a great horror game. The atmosphere and scares were all there and trying to survive in the world the devs created is very challenging but not so much that it hurts the game in any way. So basically for scares, atmosphere, and just overall fun it was great. BUT.... I was seeing other people post how not playing the game on epic settings can make it glitch and not work correctly. So I tested that out and if you don't play on epic settings the game is very buggy and sometimes just will crash completely. Make sure to PLAY ON EPIC SETTINGS! Lastly (WARNING SPOILERS... KIND OF) the end is very rushed it seems. The game was paced well throughout playing it but then at the end all of a sudden everything is summed up in about 5 sentences. I really wish the game would have had one more level after the school to smooth it out and make it completely better. But besides those things I loved the game and would reccommend anyone who loves survival horror to play the game. One of the only games thats survival horror that doesnt have zombies and is actually a good game! ;)
Otimo jogo parabens
The updated visuals aside, I do not recommend. It's far too formulaic stealth horror that has lost all it's bite the previous Pesadelo had. Which you can still play now, for the astounding price of just a few mouse clicks: https://www.indiedb.com/games/pesadelo-the-game/downloads/pesadelo-o-incio-the-beginning I am feeling tremendously misled by this late discovery.
