атмосфера и персонажи приятные лучше 3
Compared to Persona 3 and 5, Persona 4 is extremely lighthearted and fun. I was worried the game might feel outdated but surprisingly, it doesnt. However, if you're coming from Persona 5 Royal or any modern Persona games, you'll find the city to be empty and small. And its by design because the characters do say there is nothing much to do in Inaba aka the town in Persona 4. The theme of the game is about truth and facing yourself and coming to terms with your insecurities and flaws. And because of that the characters feel more relatable and human. And their social links are more close to character development. I think P4 has the second best social links after Metaphor Refantazio. As for the main cast, I prefer P3. P4's main cast is fine too but all of their growth is locked behind social links and not part of the main story. And its very easy for the player to just miss out on that because its optional. And even then I still prefer P3 cast. P3's character development feels more raw and real while P4's growth came from social interactions with the protagonist during social link events which is less impactful. Dungeons are an issue in this game. Its boring. Its not as unique as Palaces in Persona 5 and more like Tartarus from Persona 3 where your only objective is to find the stairs. And I prefer the concept of Metaverse in P5 than the Midnight Channel in P4. Metaverse and cognition theory made more sense to me than the workings of the Midnight Channel. But I can see how a lot of inspiration from P5 was taken from P4. One thing I would say this game excels at is the voice acting. I've seen the Persona 4 Revival trailer and the voice acting wasn't doing it for me. If you're on the fence about waiting for Revival or buying this game, I would still tell you to buy this game on a sale. It still holds up on many standards today, its still fun, the story is decent, the theme is amazing, the characters and villains are well written although the game does tend to drag out like any Persona game. I had fun.
It took me three years to make it to the true ending, but it was a pretty enjoyable experience! I feel like I have reached the end of a long journey in my life and am now ready to face my true self!
