Persona 4 Golden

私にとって最高のゲームになりました。 ペルソナシリーズも女神転生シリーズもプレイしたことがありませんでしたが、最っ高に楽しめました。 特にヴィジュアル・音楽が本当にセンスが良いと思います。 学ランにステッチを入れたり、重要アイテムとして味方みんなが眼鏡を着用して冒険や戦闘をする大胆なキャラデザイン。 テレビという派手さと怪しさを内包した箱の向こう側の世界。 このゲームのオシャレさは尖っていながら洗練されていて大好きです。 そして音楽は、中でも特に2種類の通常戦闘曲が最高。本当に最高。戦闘とゲーム自体の楽しさ・モチベーションにかなり好影響を与えています。 ミステリー仕立て（ホラー風味）のストーリーもとても良い。 田舎町で死因不明の死体が発見される怪奇事件をきっかけに主人公達が犯人を追う・凶行を防ぐために奔走するストーリーなので、 RPGに付き物の「（世界が広がっていくような）冒険・旅」という感じではなく、一つの街を舞台に深く追求していくような物語になります。 これは推理ものが好きな自分には大変引き込まれました。 戦いから離れた日常パートも魅力的です。学生生活を送り街の人々と交流する時間も、戦いと同じくらい価値があります。 これはかなり個人的な体験なんですが、このゲームを象徴していると思う出来事がありました。 私は初回プレイで作中の夏休みが終わった時に、「夏休み、楽しいことしかなかったな…」と思わず呟いていました。 実際には事件とかも起きているんですが、それくらい同じ街に住む人達と一緒に遊び、飯を食い、悩みを聞き、色々な絆と思い出を作っていくのが楽しかったんだと思います。 ゲームシステムについては、ADV的な日常パートとRPGらしいダンジョン探索パートを好きなタイミングで切り替えてそれぞれ自分のペースで進められるので、 ADVに飽きてきたらRPGをやる、RPGに飽きてきたらADVをやる、のサイクルでモチベーションが下がらずプレイできました。 このゲームは一つ一つの要素がどれもハイレベルでまさに名作だと思います。 文句なくオススメですが、特に「RPGと推理ものどっちも好き」な人には一層薦めたいです。

I just finished this game last night and managed to get the best ending. And wow, I am incredibly impressed with Persona 4 Golden. To be honest, I completed Persona 3 Reload right before this just to follow the proper lore order. Going from that to this, the graphics and music are obviously a significant downgrade. Not only that, but when I explored the first dungeon even on Normal difficulty, the game felt brutally hard, especially when it came to managing each character's SP. In my personal opinion, the most challenging dungeon in the game isn't the final dungeon, but rather the first one, because you literally have no items and only default equipment. I was seriously conflicted at one point and even tried escaping to Persona 5 Royal for a few hours, thinking about skipping this game entirely. After all, Persona 4 Revival is on the horizon and I am highly anticipating it. However, when it comes to the story, Persona 4 Golden easily clears Persona 3 Reload by a mile. As for the graphics and music, they were definitely cool for their time, though obviously not by modern standards. Furthermore, the Social Link stories in this game are far more engaging and memorable than the ones in P3R. We also have a place that we can proudly and warmly call "home" here, rather than just a dormitory. In the end, I am so grateful that I decided to come back to this game and was able to achieve the True/Golden Ending.
