Perseverance: Part 2

A huge part of me wants to recommend this game because nearly all [u]creative[/u] elements in this VN are deeply satisfying. I love the illustrations, the character interactions, and the gripping soundtrack which are all executed quite well. However, at this moment I cannot recommend this game at full price due to a major pain point. As good as this VN is, the vehicle used to deliver it is god-awful. Unity and VN are 2 words that should never be placed in the same sentence. The VN feels clunky when transitioning between some scenes and the save feature has a high chance of breaking if you create a lot of save files. Upon completing the story for the first time, I had 50+ save points because I was trying to map out what triggers certain achievements (Mystery master, PI, etc.). When I tried to save at the first decision point on my second run, the game pseudo-freezes at the save screen while the character/background animations are still moving along. I managed to save ONCE after verifying game files and then it proceeded to break again even after I deleted my old save points. TL;DR the save feature is one of the most important aspects of a visual novel. It should be the last thing to break in a VN because, by nature, people explore different routes in these types of games. This story is written well and Unity's VN engine is not on the same level as its competitors. I bought part 3 and I will play it despite this issue out of respect for the good storytelling and art. Please consider using a different engine if you make more VNs.

Продовження доволі цікавої візуальної новели Perseverance вийшло не настільки динамічним, як перша частина. Постійне самокопання героїні та спроби розібратися у власних гріхах минулого - трішки не те, чого чекаєш від коміксу про зомбі-апокаліпсис. На щастя, цим страждає лише початок гри. Події поступово закручуються, напруження зростає, а фінал збиває з ніг і заставляє нетерпляче чекати наступний епізод!

Слишком большой акцент на травму агента, к концу игры просто утомляет. Не хватает русского языка.

Эта часть игры мне нравится даже больше, чем первая! Приключения Карен Стэмп, её поиски беглянки Джейн и знакомства с жителями Грэйвилла. Жалко, что нет официального перевода на русский. Воспользовалась прогой по переводу игр на движке Юнити, которой была переведена одна из уже имеющихся у меня игр. И если там перевод вышел грамотный, в этой чудесной новелле, почему-то, переводчик подкачал и перевод получился "потраченным". Primeiro game viro de graça, facilitando de entendimento. necessário jogar o 1 para não se sentir totalmente perdido nos acontecimentos. é um novel bastante simples e segue trazendo a tona verdades de um surto que transformo as pessoas de uma cidade em mortos vivos. na parte 2 acompanharemos os traumas de uma assassina de aluguel assombrada por um contrato que deu errado, e todo esse seu erro volta a assombra-la dia antes de pegar a menina na cidade Gray ville ( a menina do game 1, onde o enredo era focado em seu pai) é interessante ver como alguns ponto de vista são bem explorados quando você jogo o game 1 e vem para esse, lembrando até mesmos jogos the walking dead da telltale o que é uma ótima motivação para zera-lo. Comprei esse game agora na sale de dezembro 2022, achei interessante o preço de R$5,17 e estava intrigado com a continuação da parte 1. É um bom game romance novel, porém não há legendas em pt br; o que o faz ser um game mais nichado ainda.

A really amazing game and super interesting to learn about the different characters by playing the different parts! The style and artwork is absolutely phenomenal and I loved playing it. Id definitely recommend if you love comic books, horror, mystery, point and click and telltale style games!

love the atmosphere. right from the start you can feel you're entering a small, quiet town hiding unsolved mysteries. the artstyle of the cutscenes is fresh and sharp, together with vibrant characters creates a comic-book-like feeling, both interesting and engaging

[h1]보1지 안보여줌 꼭1지 안보여줌 이거 야한거때문에 성인게임판정 받은거 아님[/h1] 야한건 아주 잠깐 나온다. 그것도 상반신만 나온다. 당연한 말이지만 보1지가 안 나온다. 꼭1지는 보여준다. 스토리 위주의 게임이다. 영어 모르거나, 스킵하면 이 게임의 절반의 절반도 못 느낀다. 스토리내내 사람들이 죽어나간다. 나이가 어리다고 예외인거 아니다. 사람끼리 죽이고 개한테 물려죽고 교살당하고 기타등등 아주 다양한 방식으로 사람이 잔인하게 죽어나간다. CG디테일이 아주 좋다. CG가 정지화면이 아니라 배경이 움직이거나 뭔가 효과를 준 장면이 꽤 많이 나온다... 하지만 야한건 거의 없다. 대신 잔인한 것은 아주 적나라하게 잘 그려놨다. 특히 목 매달려 죽을 때 다리가 흔들흔들하는 장면도 넣었음. CG작가가 공을 아주 많이 들였다. 성우연기는 없음. 다만 효과음같은건 상당히 들어간다. 배경음에도 신경 많이 썼다. 끝으로 나는 이거 24년 겨울 세일에 91% 할인할 때 940원주고 샀다. 가성비때문에 추천하는거기도 하다. 야한게 아니라서 내가 길게 적기 좀 그렇다... 이만 줄인다. 스토리 위주고 잔인한거 보려면 이거 구입해도 OK인데 야한거 보려면 X 다. I don't wholeheartedly endorse this game because I don't like cliffhanger endings. However, the story is interesting and I enjoyed the artwork. The adult themes were nice as well, if not very complicated. Sadly, you'll get no resolution until Part 3.
