About
Pembrey is a narrative, horror, mystery game set in the United Kingdom.
Two young film makers travel out deep into the Pembrey Forest in search for footage for their documentary. Record and document your findings and unravel the truth behind the famous "Pembrey Forest".

Navigate through the large forest and pray not to get lost along the way. Don't wander too far from camp however, you may see something you'll regret... The winding forest is easy to get lost in however. During the game, you will experience being lost in the middle of the woods. You will feel like you're going in circles, but are you really? That is the fear this game strives to achieve.

Record unique things in the environment to improve your film. Document horrific, beautiful, or interesting things. Will you have enough proof to convince everyone else of what actually lies in the woods?

It's OK (7/10) It has signs that there were planed multiple story branches and endings while you can get probably just one but considering price which is in many cases further decreased by coupons even single regular story is ok. Lets hope it will get finished one day

Unfortunately, this is not a finished game - there is more story missing. The story has utterly long setup comparing to short confrontation and resolution. I expected more.
Ended up getting this game for .33 cents with a coupon and honestly, I couldn't ask for much more from a game like this. Although it played more like a movie (and the only part where you were really playing was in the Factory), it still kept me on the edge of my seat with an interesting story line. I didn't stop playing until I finished. Well done.
Played 5 years ago but i remember i enjoyed this short 2D indie horror It's good when you don't have courage for 1st person horror
A Glimpse into the Pixelated Horror Realm
If you're not the type of person who enjoys full-on horror games, then you will likely find Pembery enjoyable. While there isn't a lot of gameplay, the story more than makes up for it, along with the decent sound and visual effects that contribute to a good horror story/game experience. It's definitely not for everyone, but a 2D pixel art game featuring a horror story like Pembery is not something you come across every day. Additionally, I appreciate the correlation between Pembery and a specific movie released in 1999, which I also happened to enjoy.
couldnt finish it. Shat my pants too hard
