I personally, love this game to no end. Is it basic? Yes. Is it clunky? Yes. Are there some bugs? Yes. Is it fun? Absolutely! Get a couple friends online, or even a few on a server and this game just becomes chaotic and I love it. If you're looking for a super in depth rust like medieval game, this isn't it, but it might scratch that itch you have for one! Grab a couple friends, hop on a discord call and rage war against each others castles. The servers aren't packed full, but its a brand new early-release title by an indie dev, give it time. I can only imagine how fun and chaotic a game like this will be with packed server. Everyone I've met on the servers have been extremely friendly and are a welcoming bunch. Don't take the game so seriously. Farm your resources, craft your weapons and slaughter your enemies, its that simple. 10/10 from this guy! Keep up the good work!
It's not terrible but no one is going to play it. For 10$, you get a big map and a fairly basic crafting system. I think the intention is that game would be like a medieval RUST. It might even be able to do that. I'm not sure. When I tried to place a catapult, it wouldn't place it. There seem to be random chests laying around the map with player names attached. You can steal from the enemy chests, but not your own team. The trick here is that those players were not in the server. Maybe the server is persistent but that is super incredibly not clear. I hope I am wrong and the game gets really good because I like the medieval vibe. https://youtu.be/uZiNfqFzuAE
This is perhaps as shallow as a survival game can possibly be. Even the most simple QoL features are missing, such as eating food directly from the inventory or holding down LMB to mine/chop. The idea of large-scale Bannerlord-style fortress assaults is nice. Surely a 100 vs. 100 match would be a ton of fun. But I'm not optimistic that we're going to see numbers like that. I was the only person online when I played so my only experience with the combat system was fighting a poor cow.
Very Exciting game! Hope more people know about it.
This game is a ton of fun when you get your mates with you, simple, easy to learn and addictive. Of course it's not perfect but that is what makes games like this all the more fun. Just make sure you can catch the cows.
Stick with it lucky! We believe in you
