Niesamowicie sympatyczna gra!
Ach need cn too.
Dommage.
I was really hoping I’d like this game, but right away it felt like I was playing Lost Ember. That didn’t immediately put me off, because I’m actually a big fan of Lost Ember, but unfortunately this game ended up disappointing me. It was cute, and I did like the wolf, but the story just didn’t work for me. Both John and David were really unlikable, and I never felt connected to them. The story also didn’t have much depth. The pacing was all over the place, and by the end, it felt like the game was trying way too hard to make everything emotional. Instead of feeling sad or invested, I honestly just ended up running past the memories. I also still have no idea who Michelle really is or what her story was supposed to be, which made it even harder to care about what was happening. The game does look beautiful though! Visually, it has some really nice moments. But gameplay-wise, I found it pretty boring and buggy, especially with the jumping and turning. I also wish there had been more collectibles, but from what I’ve seen in other reviews, the collectibles that are currently in the game are apparently broken, so I definitely won’t be doing a second run. I’d give it around a 4/10.
Originally bought it on sale. IF you are an Achievement Hunter, do NOT buy this game. I'll explain why further down. And as much as it pains me to give a negative review... Sadly this game hasn't been worth more than I had paid for it. The story is very see through and flat. Sometimes dialogues are so over-the-top, that you start questioning whether they were meant in a serious way. In the beginning the side-storyline of "Michelle" is introduced, which is (according to our wolf) connected to the "David" Storyline. In the end, they are just two different stories that you can follow / watch unfold and that's it. Given the revelation in the end there is no logical sense of "why" Michelle is even in the game. The controls are okay, nothing more. If you need to be fast or turn around quickly, you'll have a problem, because turning this wolf around will take (exaggeratedly said) 2-3 business days, before you can jump again. And good luck not falling off of the platform you're standing on as you're turning around. The visual design I loved in the beginning, because the orbs you collect were easy to see and everything was nice on the eyes and not straining. I don't know which demon possessed the developers to make a level that has mushrooms the same size of the orbs coloured the SAME colour of the orbs, or a desert level as well as a snow level, having the IDENTICAL colour of the orbs, but yet that is the way it is. The sound design / music is wonderful. That much I'll give the game developers credit for. It is a pity that there are only two pieces that play every once in a while, but they are relaxing and very beautiful pieces. The achievements are bugged. And I mean BUGGED. Some of them you can't reach, because of how bugged the game is. For example some of the white orbs you can collect only show up when you've missed one of the first white orbs in the game. And for context, you can't go back once you've passed a certain point / a certain level. From what I've gathered from the forum, the developers tried to fix their game, pushed a slightly altered version out there (with the same bugs for the white orbs as before, just alternate placement of some objects), called it fixed and then never answered their players again. If you're a player who doesn't care about achievements and is okay with an easy-to-digest (to put it in a nice way) storyline, then go ahead and buy it, because you won't be as upset as others who've bought the game.
ngl it wasn't that great. as another review said, this game feels very cheap. the animations are janky, the voiceovers and writing are meh, and it seems kind of unfinished. the music is nice though and so is the environment

VERY cute, the world is gorgeous, and what I got of the story before I had to stop playing was very good. Unfortunately, the controls and tutorial could use a tune up. I was playing on a gamepad and several buttons didn't work, and the instructions for which buttons to press for each control were very unclear and didn't stay on the screen for long enough for me to figure out what button I was meant to be using. The camera controls are very sensitive and there's no way to turn that sensitivity down, so I ultimately had to stop playing because being spun around so quickly was making me motion sick. This game has so much potential, and I can't wait to see it get a few patches so I can keep playing and fully experience the world the developers clearly put so much love into.
I can't recommend this game. This feels like a very poor rip off of Spirit of the North and Lost Ember. The controls were clunky and quite difficult to get the wolf to move. The storytelling was atrocious. I've never felt so disconnected from a story and I kept wishing to get to the ending credits just so I could be done. I'm a completionist and hate to leave a game half finished, but after 2.6 hours I couldn't finish. The writing could not keep me engaged and I had no reason to be connected to the characters.
