A very good and well-thought puzzle game. No guessing is required to solve the puzzles, only logical (sometimes complex) deduction.
Its a shame that this game doesnt receive a lot more attention and praise, as it is built upon the amazing Hexcells Infinite, but uses more variables (f.e. colors), and a more fleshed out level generator, with a lot of options... I own both of those game and have taken my time to compare them. And, have to honestly say, that i like and enjoy Patterna more. It looks better, and it feels like an evolution of the original formula, with enough complexity to prevent you from getting bored, for a very long time. It still is a bit rough around the edges, but if the dev should return to add some more QoL improvements and polish to this game, this would become the definite puzzle game! And, even in its current state, i absolutely recommend this jewel...
Delightfully devilish! If you dare brave the two circles of graph theory minesweeper hell, you'll come out with a surprising intuitive mix of several puzzle genres. Not for the uninitiated.
Refreshing logic game, wish I found it sooner!
I have to give this an upvote because it's a game and it works and that's really how low the bar is for these things. This game is honestly not that good. I'm almost all the way through the non-random puzzles and this game doesn't have any of the charm or appeal of Hexcells or Tametsi. Play it if you enjoy puzzle games, but this is not even close to 'The Dark Souls of Hexcells'. This game is very... adequate. It's definitely not particularly good.
i love picross as much as the next person but when you've played it and other logic puzzles like it as much as i have it gets pretty easy. and y'know sometimes that's what you want, to just kinda chill and give your brain juuuuust enough to focus on and just space out for a bit. but as somebody who likes those kinds of puzzles, patterna has proved to be really amazing for when i want to *really* have to think about what im doing. very meditative in its own way. a true hidden gem of steam, really. probably wouldn't recommend it to people without any experience with the kinds of logical deductions that nonograms and similar puzzle games (such as the clear inspiration, hexcells) require you to make, though. it'd be nice to be able to make a 'note' mark on any node. pretty minor complaint all things considered though. doesn't stop me from recommending this game if you're a puzzles sicko like i am e: okay, it's not obvious but you can actually hold shift to make "preliminary" note marks without affecting the actual solution nevermind 10/10 flawless no notes
This game is everything it's billed as, a logic game that pushes you. There was at least one early puzzle where I got the "you don't have enough information yet" mistake when I thought I did, and had to work hard to figure out what I was missing. If you crave "fair" puzzle games that always have an answer if you look hard enough, this is the best. If you want anything else, this would not be fun.
It's a step up from Hexcells but so far not too difficult, has some great mechanics, so if you are looking for another minesweeper variant I definitely recommend it.
Я впал в ступор на 18 уровне, не могу найти логическое объяснение тому что именно в данной клетки должен или не должен быть паттерн, но игра этим и привлекает.
