Pathologic 2 is a groundbreaking open-world horror RPG. Resist the plague. Make medicine. Heal people. Perform an autopsy. Trade to get what you need. Fight and kill if necessary. Survive. Struggle with an outbreak in a secluded rural town that is rapidly turning into hell.

мне плохо
Pathologic 2 is the only game I've played to make me feel real stress and anxiety over the whole course of the experience. I often hold this game up as an example of why the term game is reductive; Games must be fun, so if it's not fun, why bother? Because a game need not be fun to be a worthwhile experience. We know this is true in other forms of media where we engage with all manner of unfun things like horror, romance, war, disgust, and loss. But once it comes to games we reduce all this to 'fun.' I can only recall so much from playing it some time ago, but it managed to hit what I'd been looking for from other games often claimed to provide the same like X-COM: UFO Defense for the fact that you're always kept on the back foot. It's not fun being unable to afford anything, to be starving, thirsting, crawling along, getting mugged, and being both the town fixer and scapegoat for all of life's problems. But undeniably it is an engaging experience that usually is reserved for real life, and I'm grateful to experience a piece of that in fiction over reality. If you want a fun game, while parts can certainly be fun I suggest you look elsewhere, as I recall it is closer to an art piece than a straight up game. In game terms it may be more like some kind of hybrid hobo-chieftain simulator.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,420 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Matched by title — a reused name can pair the wrong games. * is a critic aggregate. Prices and positions are each store's United States storefront; Epic charts worldwide. Audience and Score too, except Steam's, which is worldwide.

10/10 game, only critique is that there isn't enough of Daniils ass on my screen. Really unfortunate.

One of the most special games I've ever had the pleasure of playing through, an absolute must play for anyone who says the enjoy the medium of video games
