About
The pathogen that stripped humanity down to pure instinct was no accident.
The collapse of the world, set in motion by human will, proved irreversible. Many survived — but did all of them remain human? This is the story of a man who must overcome a series of trials to find his place in the coming chaos and preserve his humanity.
Pathogenesis: Overcome is a narrative-driven action RPG set in Russia during a global pandemic. The game blends hardcore gameplay, tactical combat, open-environment exploration, and survival elements. The world must be approached with caution — weapons and equipment are scarce, and the infected are far from the greatest threat. Armed survivors, forming violent groups and factions, pose a much greater danger.
Combat is not about fast clicks, but about planning and situational awareness. Ammunition is limited and has weight, weapons wear down, and a careless firefight can quickly lead to defeat. Not every conflict is worth engaging.
Using cover, terrain, and proper positioning is critical. A single bullet can be fatal, and a reckless dash into enemy fire may become the character’s final decision.
Direct control and an aiming mode provide freedom of movement and precise control in fast-changing combat situations.
Realistic ballistics, armor-piercing ammunition capable of penetrating cover, and a precision aiming system allow players to prevail even against numerically superior enemies.
An extensive arsenal of real-world firearms supports deep customization, enabling fine-tuning of ergonomics and accuracy. However, excessive attachments come at a cost — weapon weight and size directly affect the character’s mobility and handling.
Locations are designed as open environments filled with buildings, hidden stashes, and alternative routes. Players must search for equipment, resources, and information while gradually advancing through the world and its story.
Survival elements complement the core gameplay. Injuries, bleeding, fatigue, and overall condition require attention. Medical supplies, food, and rest help recovery, but they never replace caution and tactical thinking.
The infected are not zombies, but humans whose minds have been altered by the pathogen. They are fast, aggressive, resilient, and dangerous in large numbers — yet still relatively predictable.
The true threat comes from armed survivors. Using cover, maneuvers, coordination, and a wide range of weapons, they create complex tactical situations that force deliberate decision-making. Each faction differs not only in appearance, but also in equipment, gear, and tactical behavior.
The game is in active development. Core systems for gameplay, controls, AI, weapons, exploration, and progression are already implemented. Future updates will expand the narrative content, locations, enemies, RPG mechanics, world interaction, and further develop weapons, gear, and gameplay systems.

Don't buy this game. Lack of content. I have the RX 6600 GPU and the game only was playable in low graphics mode.
güzel oyun potansiyeli var ama gelişmesi çokça lazım bu haliyle 10-20 saat anca oynanıyor sonra yapıcak bir şey kalmıyor
Сложновато в управлении. Но меня зацепило
The game is barebones but have lots of potential. The thing that made me refunded it is that it has graphic issues for me

Even though the game is in early access, it's already excellent. I can't wait to see the upcoming updates! THE PROS (+) - Top-notch graphics - Intense gunfights - Varied weaponry and customization options - Pleasant environment THE CONS (-) - Tricky controls, especially at the beginning - Lots of loot very quickly, and no place to store these weapons and outfits. Base building would be excellent.

Open Letter to the Devs To the team behind Pathogenesis, I want to share some honest feedback as a player who has genuinely fallen in love with what you're building. I've put the praise first and the criticism second, with every point numbered straight through. What I Love An almost lifelike experience. The game is wonderful — richly detailed and full of surprises. It gets remarkably close to feeling like real life. Realistic weapon handling. Having to load rounds into the magazine before you can chamber and ready the weapon is exactly the kind of detail that makes all the difference. I love it. Gorgeous graphics. Visually, the game is stunning. Deep environmental detail and customization. Chairs, tables, cars, construction and building areas — the care put into crafting a believable, real world genuinely surprised me. The developers' passion for building a living, breathing scenario shows in every corner. Full-body looting. Being able to loot every part of a body is simply epic. A strong foundation, even this early. Even in its current paid/demo state, the game is clearly far from finished — and yet the vision is already obvious. When it's complete, I'm certain it will be impressive. It made me genuinely excited. It had been a long time since a game made me this happy and enthusiastic. Thank you for that. Tactical depth with modern beauty. It plays like a modern Commandos — that classic tactical feel — but wrapped in absurdly beautiful graphics. Enormous systemic potential. Driving cars, blowing up fuel tanks, deeper physics — the possibilities here feel endless. I really hope you can see it too. Where It Falls Short Optimization is the biggest issue. The game is poorly optimized and extremely demanding. It freezes and crashes often. Part of that is my own outdated machine, but optimization is a real problem that holds the experience back. Enemy AI is too simple. Both the zombies and the soldiers behave far too dumbly. No sound or awareness propagation. You can kill a soldier right in front of another one and it triggers no alarm and no coordinated reaction — gunfire and noise simply don't raise enemy aggression. It breaks the immersion and feels bizarre for a game that is this realistic everywhere else. Please think about lower-end players. A heartfelt request: consider the players who can't afford to upgrade their PCs right now. Have you seen hardware prices lately? They're absurd. Finding ways to welcome lower-spec players would mean a great deal. More options and content. The game could use more options overall — though I suspect much of that is already planned for the future. Final Word Honestly, I don't think anyone needs to buy the game just yet — the demo alone is enough to understand everything I've described here. You still have a long road ahead. But wow, it's becoming beautiful. It had been a long time since a game left me this hopeful, and I'm rooting for you to take it all the way. With appreciation and high hopes, — A hopeful player PC: Desktop with Intel Core i5-8600K (6 cores), 16 GB of RAM, a GTX 1070 graphics card with 8 GB, a 960 GB SSD + 500 GB HDD, two Full HD monitors, running Windows 10 Pro.
Очень достойно, прям очень. Но поиграв полтора часа рухнули настройки графики, все в пикселях и никак не исправляется. Настроение ушло в -
