Pathfinders: Mini Words

The game is quite easy but still enjoyable. I was entertained for about half an hour which is short but I only spent about a dollar so I think it was still worth it in the end.

A great game to learn while having fun.

You need to create words from the letters on a board. The words you need are depicted by pictures alongside the board. As this is a game about creating words, you need to have at least somewhat of a grasp of the English language. If e.g. you don't how to spell giraffe, or what a picture is supposed to be, you are in bad luck. Like many word games, that makes it a little less accessible. Furthermore the game is 50 levels long, with the early levels having just one short word, later levels having two or sometimes even three words you need to find on the board. 50 levels may sound like pretty okay, but condering a level does not have to take much more than a couple of seconds once you know which words you are looking for, the game is short. Now I don't mind short games at all, on the contrary. But this game takes short to the next level. English is not even my native language, so on a couple of levels I wondered a little while what words I was looking for, yet still I was done with the game in less than half an hour. That is too short for my taste, which is basically the only reason why I do not recommend it. Other than that both graphics and audio are fine, although nothing fancy.

pretty underwhelming, I don't know if this series or the wordle (not that one) series came first but I'm not really impressed in either case.
