https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3342862965
Baimason's Thing Finder Puzzle is a pretty unique HOG game in which you'll have to identify objects based on their pictograms. The game contains 60 procedurally generated levels that have both the list of objects to find as well as the icons corresponding to these objects randomized, but at the same time belonging to the same theme and arranged nicely into a distinctive shape. They are unlocked sequentially, 2-3 at a time, and after 10 levels you can additionally unlock an extra one that changes its contents daily. There are several reasons why I love this game so much. First of all, it's something you can play in short bursts. The levels are very small, each taking on average one minute to solve, which makes it perfect to be played in between activities, when you have a few minutes to fill. https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3304945954 Secondly, the design of the levels is aimed at providing as much player comfort as possible. The list of objects can contain multiple instances of the same object, but so does the board - in fact, one object can be found multiple times on the board, thus the player doesn't need to search for the needle in the haystack, as any instance of that object represents a correct match. If you have to search for 3 cars, for example, the board will probably contain 10 of them among many other objects, and this makes it really easy for the player to find at least those 3 occurrences. Additionally, there is a hint system, an option to turn the timer off, lost lives (by mislicking) replenishment over time, various color schemes to pick from, etc. Thirdly, multiple icons are available for the same object. This adds a bit of flavor to the gameplay, it's actually really fun to find those 3 cars from the example above in different shapes. The pixel icons are adorable, and even if they're small, they have lots of cute details to make them distinguishable from others of the same type. https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3304945940 The daily level has quickly become my daily guilty pleasure. While in other games dailies might feel more or less like a chore, Baimason's Thing Finder Puzzle's daily level is very relaxing and as easy and short as the rest of the game. There's only one achievement tied to completing these dailies and since you'd need to do this only 30 times, not much grinding is required to obtain 100% completion. Baimason's Thing Finder Puzzle is a little gem that I warmly recommend to all HOG fans out there. It's beautiful in its simplicity and joyful in its purest form. First and foremost I'd like to thank the developer for the opportunity to play the game, and for free. That being said, even though my review is negative I would recommend a solid read through. This is not my type of game, but a few other people I let play liked it. Baimason's Thing Finder Puzzle's gameplay is a very simple straight forward puzzle game. On the top left of the screen are a bunch of items that are listed and in the centre of the screen has a bunch of items that the player has to match. Some levels require the player to do it in sequential order, while other levels allow for random selection. Each level is slightly different and has different layouts given the big picture provided. The goal is to complete the level as quick as possible. There is a timer in the bottom right hand corner that does provide a little pressure to complete the level as quick as possible. The controls rely on the mouse to click on the variety of items. The dev did a pretty good job mixing up the small icons to click on, and although straight forward, can sometimes test the player's ability to quickly identify whats on the list. There is a nice function where the player can use the mouse scroll wheel to zoom in, in-case some of us require a bigger UI to see the icons. The game is quite smooth and works quite well. The addition of the campaign is also another positive to keep the player interested. The graphics and visuals are unique to the game, focusing on pixelated graphics. The user interface and transition from level to level is extremely smooth. The simplicity was nice to look at and made the game very appealing to play - especially for some of my friends who are more casual Gamers. The sounds and music are suitable to the game and its environment. Nothing over the top, but absolutely appreciated that all the necessities are included. So - why the thumbs down!? Personally, it is not my type of game. If you are a casual Gamer and do like puzzles, this would be one for you. Again, thank you Dev for the opportunity to play this game.
>A Grandes Rasgos:
Fun little game, I'd definitely casually play this on my phone.
Great game to relax and clear the mind Could not stop playing until I had all 3 stars in each level in ALL levels Is kind of addictive, now I start my pursuit for all the achievements
Baimason's Thing Finder Puzzle is a fun game I do enjoy this tipe of game for me it's relaxing and always good fun and every time there was a problem the Devs team always listen to the community trying to solve the problem. It's an easy game with easy achievements (especially since they removed the 365 dailys) it is also not expensive so I do advise to buy this one . I give this game 7.5/10 .
💜 This game was gifted to Catizens Curations for review. I had the chance to try Baimason's Thing Finder Puzzle because I got it through a curator, and I’m so glad I had the chance—it’s such a delightful little hidden object game! The concept is simple but incredibly charming: you’re tasked with finding pixel-made objects hidden within levels that are entirely composed of adorable pixel art. It’s like a cozy scavenger hunt that’s as relaxing as it is satisfying. What really stands out about this game is its replayability. Each level is unique and procedurally generated, so even when you revisit your favorite stages, they feel fresh and different every time. I also love how the game rewards progress—every level you complete unlocks new challenges and more items to discover, which keeps things engaging and gives you that "just one more level" feeling. The daily challenge is another highlight for me. It’s a fun way to add variety and gives you a little something to look forward to each day. Plus, there’s an achievement for completing 30 days of daily challenges, so it’s a great incentive to stick with it. Overall, Baimason's Thing Finder Puzzle is a fantastic pick if you’re into chill, relaxing games that don’t demand too much but still feel rewarding. Whether you’re looking for a way to unwind or just want a charming puzzle game to add to your library, this one’s absolutely worth checking out.
Very enjoyable little hidden objects game with a different style and premise, than the vast majority. Very creative and fun to play through though i wish there was more. I guess the daily puzzles count but I'm so bad with waiting for stuff i like to marathon through things i enjoy. I wholeheartly recommend you play this one if you like the genre.
With its unique and polished aesthetic, chill atmosphere and replayable procedural levels this is probably the best object finder game I've played, it even has some unusual complexity by sometimes having different pictures for the same type of object, so you don't just turn your brain off always looking for the same object. Great to play on the go with a Steam Deck. Would be great to have more languages since it has helped me get familiarized with some German words.
