Pastel Putter

Super minimalist, but that's not always a good thing, and "free" doesn't mean you get an automatic good review for poor design choices.. 1. defaults to windows resolution, windowed mode is also max sized window. 2. No options menu, no way to change resolution or window size. 3. No way to change volumes or audio 4. No quick restart button for levels. Like i get it BWJ, this is a free game that was probably a project for something. It shows. A lot.

"Pastel Putter" is a mediocre mobile app tier minimalist minigolf game that may well be just a copy + paste of a Unity minigolf tutorial. The quality here is below many Unity asset packs and tutorials for minigolf, and given that quality is a key driver for success, it's no surprise this was a dismal failure. Asset flip or not, this is just as bad as an asset flip in terms of what it offers to gamers looking for real games. It's incredibly shallow, simplistic, and just plain un-fun. This game features very lacklustre minimalist "art" for graphics instead of anything remotely contemporary. I'm sure the "developer" thought this would come across as "artistic", but it doesn't, it comes across as "really lazy". Yes, contemporary 3D graphics take a lot of time and effort to create. That doesn't mean it's okay not to bother! Developers must try to understand that gaming is a visual medium, and gamers spend a lot of money on high end gaming rigs for a reason. And that reason is not so they can look at lazy, phoned-in half efforts like this. This is "free" enough, at least you won't be expected to spend any more money after you download this, but just because something is free doesn't mean it's good. Despite having no up-front cost, this failed to appeal to the 120 million+ gamers on Steam. SteamDB showed the game peaked at only 3 concurrent players... this is a dismal public reception. This was so bad they couldn't even give it away. Bearing in mind that free games don't add +1 to your game collector count, should you bother adding this to your library and downloading it? Not this time. This isn't worth downloading. While this won't cost you any money, you get what you pay for, and sometimes, even when the game is free, it's still not enough.

This Game is Fun when you are bored. I am bored all of the time so this game is game is a time killer. but. i would like more levels. the levels are easy but there needs to be more of them.

It's minimal and pretty chill, but for me it's perhaps a little too basic. There's a decent enough foundation for something more, but as it stands I don't think there's not enough here for me to want to stay and play further. It runs really smoothly though.
