Paratopic

Paratopic feels like digging up some cursed VHS and deciding “yeah I’ll watch this” and then regretting it in the best way. Cuts make no sense, characters talk like something’s wrong, and you’re just there trying to piece it together while the game quietly messes with your head. No cheap jumpscares, just pure off-feeling that keeps getting worse the longer you sit with it. It’s over fast, but it leaves that nasty “what the hell was that” stuck in your brain way longer than it should. legit one of the best short indie horror things I’ve played. 8.5/10, feels wrong and works.

Wie ein guter Film den man sich mehrmals anschaut und ihn trotzdem nie so ganz versteht. Ein Mal durchspielen reicht nicht. Ist sein Geld definitiv wert, auch wenn es nur knapp eine Stunde lang ist. Aber man spielt es eh mindestens 2 mal.

This game is awesome. The suspense and horror elements are really chilling at times and the story (which makes a lot more sense after a second run) is genuinely super interesting and paired with an excellent setting.
