This game is Phasmophobia with CCTV cameras. On each map you have 4 or 5 cameras to switch between, and you can activate various pieces of equipment to get evidence. Once you have enough evidence you know what ghost it is and can leave. There are also "hunts" where you must hide under your desk to survive. The basic idea of this game is good but in practice all you do rapidly cycle between the different equipment and hide when prompted, totally ignoring any visuals or atmosphere. A typical game starts with you looking at EMF readings to see where the ghost is, then clicking between UV light and Laser light while spamming the EVP button. After 10 seconds, check EMF again, and back to spamming. It feels incredibly unsatisfying to play. You basically have to play this way because a typical mission lasts around 3 minutes, so there is no time and no reason to look at the house you are investigating or do any sort of mystery solving. This game obviously took a lot of inspiration from Phasmophobia, but what this game lacks is any sort of thinking. Because you are watching a screen and don't actually move through any sort of 3d environment, you either see Orbs or don't, you either see EMF5 or don't... there is no deciding where to set up equipment or trying to predict what the ghost might do, or using equipment in combination, there is is no real decision making of any kind. While there are other aspects of the game I like, the core gameplay unfortunately makes the whole experience fall flat. That said, they are worth mentioning. There are random spooky ghosts events that happen which can be pretty fun. While there are not a lot of upgrades there are some useful ones that give you reason to grind. There are quite a few maps. The idea of exorcising the ghost is a good one, but it needed to be more than a lackluster button press. Bottomline, this game has some good ideas but the extremely short rounds and spam button press gameplay just are not fun.
Скучный observation duty с призраками вместо аномалий: найди то, не знаю что.
