Game crashes in the first min. each time sending me back to desktop

I do recommend this game if you want to grab it while it's on sale very short game, it only takes like 30ish minutes to finish it if you know what you're doing. I don't recommend paying $20 not really worth it, when playing vr it's not optimized of course. The game is developed UE4 so it's pretty old like the ps4 version and the controls are very clucky, some times wherever you walk into it seem like there's an invisible barrier or you're having to fight with the door to open it and you accidently slam the door on your face lol. In none vr mode the graphics actually looks decent but the controls are sorta weird, you'll get the hang of it. I 100% the game although my last achievement "Tortured soul" glitched and didn't unlock T-T

Review zu Paranormal Activity: The Lost Soul (VR, Steam Version) Ich habe das Spiel in VR ausprobiert und muss sagen: Für ein Game von 2017 ist die Grafik echt top – da kann man nicht meckern. Die Atmosphäre hat mich direkt gepackt und ich hatte auch wirklich Angst beim Spielen, also seinen Zweck erfüllt das Spiel absolut. Die Steuerung in VR ist so eine Sache – mal läuft es flüssig, mal hakelt es ein bisschen, das war teilweise echt nervig. Untertitel gibt es leider nicht auf Deutsch, was mir persönlich ziemlich Schwierigkeiten gemacht hat, da man dadurch schon einiges verpasst. Wichtig: Manchmal muss man wirklich Kleinigkeiten erledigen, sonst kommt man nicht weiter. Zum Beispiel einen Zettel lesen oder eine Batterie aufheben – wenn man das nicht macht, bleibt die Tür verschlossen und man hängt fest. Gameplay-technisch habe ich ca. eine Stunde gespielt und dabei viel gemerkt (und auch gemeckert 😅). Trotzdem finde ich: Das Spiel ist für sein Alter echt solide und hat definitiv kein schlechtes Review verdient! Pro: Starke Grafik (für 2017!) Super Atmosphäre & gruselig VR-Immersion funktioniert Contra: Steuerung nicht immer zuverlässig Keine deutschen Untertitel Teilweise hakelig im Gameplay Manche Progression hängt an Kleinigkeiten (z. B. Zettel lesen) Fazit: Wer Horror in VR mag, sollte es sich trotz kleiner Macken anschauen. I bought this for the VR years ago...ish, now that I have one. It does even work. It cashes at the boot up loading screen.

I have the same problem as others where I can't even attempt to play this game because it just crashes after opening eventually. I can't even get past the little movement tutorial without the game going kaput.... Friends wanted to watch me play this too :(

it cost me blood, sweat, tears and a LOT of TIME to try and play this game but just like a lot of others it just doesnt work
