Great laid back puzzle game with charming music and 3d design. Love that my real life dogs colours were an option made me very invested in saving my boy.
Excellent little puzzle game. Nothing too crazy, just a simple concept polished to perfection. Great aesthetics, level design, mechanics, and pacing. I've been playing for roughly 2 hours and I've beaten almost all of the holes. I feel like I'll be able to 100% in ~5 hours. Definitely would pick up a sequel or DLC with more levels.
Such a fun and relaxing game! The controls feel really smooth and responsive, and it's overall very well designed. Usually not a fan of golf games but ended up not being able to put this down. The visuals are beautiful and the characters are so cute!

Par for the Dungeon is a fun golf puzzle game where you play as Cal and complete the levels in as few moves as possible. As you progress, the levels get more and more challenging, but you have different abilities that can help Cal along the way. I also love the addition of choosing your dog and having to rescue them.
I enjoyed golfing without the stress! It is hard at times but not nearly as hard as it is in between easy and hard. 8/10
Honestly a very solid little game, reminds me a bit of the classic era of mobile games. Very much worth the price, would recommend.
This was a fun puzzle game with a unique twist on mini golf. The puzzles had some difficulty, but not too much. The art style and story were fun and overall the game was very polished. The devlogs for this game were also very fun to watch. A bit of constructive feedback: I would have liked to see some harder puzzles, maybe that layered some of the mechanics from world to world. Right when getting used to the arrows for example they are gone and replaced with something else in the next world. Might be an opportunity there in the future. Also would be nice to be able to reset whenever, not just once whenever and anytime at the end of a level. On a few levels you can also block yourself from finishing if you aren't careful and need to restart the whole course. There were a few times I wished the camera didn't reset after dragging for longer shots. I realized later on you can hold the drag with your shot, but it's not ideal even though it works.
Rok temu wpadłem na kanał na youtube studia Sleeping Giant Games, a dokładniej na film, w którym szukali pomysłu na kolejną grę. Ludzie na nagraniu wyglądali na mega sympatycznych i zajaranych swoją pracą. Następnie opublikowali materiał o Par for the Dungeon i zacząłem śledzić ich zmagania przy tworzeniu tego tytułu. Ogólnie ostatnio jeszcze bardziej zainteresowałem się grami indie, przeglądać jak różni ludzie rozwijają swoje projekty. Zacząłem też wspierać twórców na, np: Kickstarterze. Wydaje się to naturalny proces, gdy samemu w przyszłości chce się to robić. Ale wracając do Par for the Dungeon - jest to ciekawe połączenie gry logicznej i golfa. Par for the Dungeon to bardzo przyjemna i ładnie wyglądająca produkcja.
Par for the Dungeon is a unique blend of mini-golf mechanics and dungeon-crawling elements. Players take on the role of Cal, a sentient golf ball, on a quest to rescue his kidnapped dog, Cerby, from the mischievous Bogeys. The game offers over 100 levels across four distinct biomes, each introducing new challenges and mechanics. Pros: - Innovative Gameplay Fusion: The combination of mini-golf precision and dungeon-crawling strategy creates a refreshing and engaging experience. - Challenging Level Design: Each level presents unique obstacles and enemies, requiring players to think critically and plan their shots carefully. - Charming Aesthetics and Soundtrack: The game's cartoony visuals and delightful music enhance the overall experience, making it both visually and audibly appealing. Cons: - Monetization Concerns: The presence of microtransactions, particularly for retries and special outfits, may detract from the experience for some players. -Occasional Level Frustration: Certain levels may feel unfair due to precise angles required, potentially leading to player frustration. - Limited Replay Incentives: While collecting crowns and stars unlocks outfits, some players may find the rewards insufficient to motivate replaying levels. In conclusion, "Par for the Dungeon" offers a delightful and challenging experience by merging mini-golf with dungeon-crawling elements. Despite some concerns with monetization and level difficulty, it stands out as a creative and enjoyable game. Score: FOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOUR out of 5—A hole-in-one adventure with a few rough patches.
