having a blast, lots of old school stuff, but upgraded. Not a insta win/ insta complete, fast level, I win type of game. So most anyone under 30 will not get it and will hate it. maybe even under 40s
I'm just not impressed with the combat system. It look janky at best. I applaud their efforts for classes, races and the environment but the combat is just.. meh. There's no smooth motion behind it. I feel they have much much more work on the aesthetics of the game. I'll keep a crooked eye on it but hold off on purchase.

MMO done right. Not for the weak.
i am Really loving the game.. bringing my back to 1999.. my EQ Days...
Clearly made to be an everquest replacement. Lacks a lot of polish, but there's still hope that it can be the true successor to my absolute favorite MMO of all time (and maybe game of all time).
As and old everquest player I wanted to love this game , It is a memory of my youth the game holds still some of that sadly It is half-asses in nearly everything they do. The graphics looks liked everquest did in the 2000's. The classes don't feel like they are fully complete on any of the 7 different classes i have leveled passed 20. The weekly patches are not thought out or even tested it feels like. The worse most offensive thing is they don't seem to care about the player base or the quality of content they do release. They will change things that effect us on a whim, like removing a shard. I started on a huge server that had 3 shards and made you feel like it was a community, everywhere you went or wanted to group at you had people you knew and became friends with but, they took a shard away making groups fight over camps ,xp and loot. Then Server merge with 6 other smaller onces even after that 90% of the new server was from my old one ( side note couple months after they drove more people aways we are down to 2 shards again ) Time to get to the New Content part which was also only 20 % done adding new types of damage and much harder mobs they even the best geared people wasn't ready for or could handle the zone was pose to be 35 - 40 levels ,but level 45 - 50's was still dying in it even after all the quick fixed gear updates they released weeks after the " Big new content " it is still a massive struggle and makes the game unfun , The deaths are punishing only 50 % rezz is the max you lose over 300k xp on death so only get 150k back leading to a simple death costing you multiple hours to regain and that is if you don't die again. I can go on and on about the shortfalls of this game and the dev team behide it. I have listed a few small examples. The short of it the game is rough the devs refuse to do anything that would make a players life easier from picking a funny name that became cringeworthly fast to even refunding an item sold to vendor on accident with soild proof of the transaction and everything . If you want to play a game where devs don't care , full group boxers control the names on both shards so you cant camp or farm what you want to to progress , Good news this game is for you.
I played from the start.... no map was rough, super low xp was super rough. Quit early... Restarted 2 years latter, game is in much better place. double xp atm, with a better exp curve coming in spring. Horses was an uber add. The way the game is trending i will continue to play. Hope they add more zones, and seperate mobs into better areas for hunting. Looks like they are doing away with chevron mobs which is good. Looking forward to the spring update. See you there! Villany
great game exellect graphics is worth the time and money!
Pantheon: Rise of the Fallen feels a bit like EverQuest, though not as much as I expected, which is not necessarily a bad thing. Unfortunately, the game is extremely laggy, and grouping, which is essential for progressing at a reasonable pace, is surprisingly limited. On top of that, the overall balance feels off to the point where it takes away much of the enjoyment. I will be sticking with World of Warcraft or The Elder Scrolls Online instead.
142 hour game time, because I was testing nearly all the classes. After level 16 the grinding is horrible, hours farming on one spot. Not worth my time. - The MMO is based on WoW race and class system, different a bit, but at least not a copy of a bad game. - If I can remember correctly, 5 races and 12 classes are available. - The graphic is pitiful, not even the quality of the first WoW release. Looks terribel old and somehow randomly taken assets, which were not really adapted. However, this can be improved later, at least the base game is okay. - The music is how it is, looks like played with instruments. Sometimes annoying, sometimes I do hear nice instruments. Also not so well done like in the first WoW version. - Quests are available, but it is grinding to level up, the quest are for getting gear. - Quests with story not available at all. - No monthly costs. - I think, and I hope, there is a small team behind and so I do understand the low/medium quality of the game. Why am I played it: challanging and 12 classes (+5 races), and those they did well.
