An artistical game, with a high amount of entertainment factor. It's good for many screenshots. It offers a high amount of variability. It offers many beautifull things to look at.
Brilliant, visually stunning and an auditory landscape full of interesting and beautiful sounds. A wonderful toy to play with whenever the mood strikes.
i used to play this on itch.io a lot. it's just a really strange experience that HAS to be experienced.
The game is enjoyable and has a very interesting artistic direction. However, I also feel like it doesn't fully take advantage of the medium of a game. To me, this still feels too much like an art installation I would play around with in a museum. Something you visit, not something you keep, make familiar and maybe have a small community around. One suggestion from my side is to make it possible to save and share configurations. In that way you can easily return to something you found and enjoyed or experience other peoples found configurations.
Is it a game? Is it an instrument? Is it a synthesizer? I don't know but I enjoy this immensely and so have all my pals weather they are musicians or not. Even my 7 year old niece had a blast with this. Sometimes I drop in for a quick fun goofing around, but I find that the most rewarding way is to really learn how to play a certain map and try to make songs with structure and different parts and repetition. I can strongly recommend this and I'd be very interested in checking out new projects from the developers. EDIT: If anyone knows similar "games" please recommend me in the comments.
Pop headphones on and enjoy altering a landscape and song at the same time. It's the kind of game that might be nice to revisit every now and then, to clear your mind or find inspiration. The control scheme seems odd (I played it with controller) but works quite well!
