Trash game, feels like a super badly optimized rogue like with little quality of life gameplay that is utterly boring and basically on rails

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Pandemic Train, developed by Trigger Labs and published by Games Operators in partnership with PlayWay S.A., is a hybrid survival-strategy experience set in a bleak alternate-history world ravaged by a deadly plague. The game places players in charge of a steam-powered train that serves as both transportation and sanctuary for a small group of survivors. With civilization collapsing and infected zones spreading across the landscape, the train becomes a moving lifeline, carrying scientists, soldiers, and civilians across hostile territories in the hope of eventually developing a cure. The premise combines the intimacy of base management with the tension of exploration in a crumbling world. At the heart of Pandemic Train is the delicate balance between resource management and long-term survival. Every journey demands careful allocation of food, water, medicine, and ammunition. Crew members must be assigned tasks that sustain daily life on board, such as farming crops in makeshift greenhouse cars, crafting essential supplies, repairing train components, or treating the sick. The limited physical space within the train adds an additional layer of strategy. Each carriage can only accommodate a certain number of facilities, forcing players to make difficult choices about whether to prioritize defense, food production, research, or medical infrastructure. The confined environment reinforces the constant pressure of survival in a world where resources are scarce and mistakes carry consequences. The overarching objective of supporting scientific research into a cure gives the experience a broader narrative framework. Progress toward this goal depends not only on managing resources but also on making moral decisions about who to help and which risks to take. Encounters with other survivors present opportunities for recruitment or conflict, and decisions made during these interactions can affect morale and resource stability. The game attempts to create tension between compassion and pragmatism, reflecting the grim realities of leading a fragile community during a global catastrophe. Exploration segments introduce a more action-oriented gameplay style. When the train stops at various locations, players venture into nearby ruins and settlements in top-down perspective to scavenge supplies and confront threats. These excursions involve combat with hostile survivors or infected enemies, along with searching for materials and story-related discoveries. While these missions add variety to the management-focused core loop, they can sometimes feel repetitive. Enemy behavior tends to be straightforward, and combat mechanics are relatively simple, emphasizing positioning and basic weapon use rather than intricate tactical depth. Nevertheless, these segments contribute to the atmosphere of danger and reinforce the vulnerability of venturing beyond the safety of the train. Atmospherically, Pandemic Train succeeds in establishing a somber tone. The world is depicted as desolate and abandoned, with environments that evoke decay and desperation. Dialogue interactions presented through illustrated portraits add personality to crew members and external characters, helping to humanize the stakes of survival. The soundtrack supports this bleak setting with subdued and melancholic themes. While the visuals and audio do not push technical boundaries, they effectively convey the mood of a society on the brink of extinction. Progression systems combine persistent upgrades with cyclical gameplay loops. Players can unlock improvements for their train and crew, enhancing efficiency and survivability over time. However, certain design choices may create a sense of uneven advancement, as some resets or structural limitations can make experimentation feel risky. The confined train layout ensures that no single playthrough allows unlimited expansion, which reinforces the theme of scarcity but may also restrict strategic creativity for some players. Community reception reflects the game’s ambitious but imperfect execution. Many players appreciate the combination of base management and exploration, praising the thematic cohesion and the concept of a mobile sanctuary in a pandemic-stricken world. Others point to repetitive mission design, limited combat depth, and progression systems that occasionally undercut long-term motivation. The game’s appeal largely depends on how much a player values atmosphere and survival tension over mechanical complexity. Ultimately, Pandemic Train stands as a conceptually compelling survival title that blends strategy and action within a distinctive setting. Its strengths lie in its premise, resource management tension, and atmospheric world-building. While it does not fully realize all of its mechanical ambitions, it provides a thoughtful and often tense experience centered on leadership under extreme conditions. For players drawn to survival simulations with moral decision-making and a focus on community management, Pandemic Train offers a challenging journey through a grim and uncertain landscape. Rating: 5/10
Its a chill game, but FOR ♥♥♥♥ SAKE the rng based achievements are Awful. 10+ hour from my life that i wont get back. If anyone wants to play this game for the fun of it, just go for it . . . IF its for an achievement hunt JUST SKIP IT.
The game was alright, I liked the concept and things but after completing a run once, you have basically completed the game. You just have to do it another few times but nothing really changes... You can build things on the train but I never had the need for anything outside what you start off with anyway plus chickens... (kitchen, garden, chickens). I try to aim for 100% completion but the bit that upset me was trying to find the 5 random locations, like the tank, the plane, the statue, the tree and the machine. I managed to complete the game without running into any of them despite searching every level... Thankfully someone had screenshots of where they found them and once I worked out the locations I was able to auto complete the levels they weren't on to just hurry through it a bit but even then, they wouldn't always be on there so I would have to try multiple times and hope the correct levels would pop up And then hope the thing was there... Like, why though? Why have that randomness in there to begin with? Just keep them in the level. It's like a reward for playing the level and not auto completing it.
Mamy początek Września 2025 i ani widu ani słychu obietnic develeperów. Obiecali DLC z Endless Modem i tutaj także nic.
