The humor is ridiculously absurd, the concept is unique and the game has its own personality. It’s refreshing to see something that doesn’t feel like another copy of a popular game. Definitely keeping an eye on this one.
You can definitely feel that it’s Early Access. It could use more depth, more mechanics, and more ways to affect the world. But the main idea is genuinely interesting. You’re basically a cosmic force, a healer, and humanity’s disappointed parent all at once. If the developers keep expanding it, this could become something really unique.
Very weird game. In a good way. At first: “What am I even doing?” One hour later: “Wait… I actually want to restore balance to the universe.”
I thought it was a simulator of my corporate job. Turns out it's a chaotic fever dream. My hands hurt, my eyes are bleeding, but the pixels are happy.
Its cheap, its stupid and it runs perfectly. If you like chaotic arcade stuff and weird dark humor just buy it.
What a f**king trip lmao. Such a weird and absurd minigame collection, it makes zero sense but i actually loved it. Definitely gonna follow the updates to see what else they add.
bought this to play with a friend. pure chaos. if you and your homies share exactly one brain cell and act like total degenerates, just buy it already 😂
Never seen a game mix typing tests with roguelike elements like this, kinda weird mechanics but surprisingly addictive. Worth it for the absurd vibes alone.
I have 473 games in my Steam library. I have never played anything like this. "Pain to Satisfaction" is simple: an arcade game built around a ~5 minute loop of four minigames (three more are planned). They're deliberately simple, but never trivial. And it is merciless. Difficulty IS the progression here. The longer you play, the harder it gets. But honestly, the gameplay isn't even the main thing for me. I have ADHD and I'm in treatment for it. This game understands me on a fundamental level. There's a layered, subtle "message" woven into it, if you want to call it that, and from my perspective it's absolutely on point. It doesn't exploit or feed my condition. It plays with it, anarchic, yet respectful. Playing this genuinely feels good to me. It's less a game and more a piece of art. Almost medicine, honestly. The humor is pretty brutal at times, but I'm all in on it. No reservations. It's Early Access, it's short, and it won't be for everyone. But for me? One of a kind. Easy thumbs up. PS: I play on Linux Mint 22.3 via Proton Experimental and it runs out of the box, with no issues.
3 words: intense!!!
