OVERWHELMED

Good ranks are gated too much behind having most of the upgrades. The only way to be competitive is to spam dash once you have the unlocks maxed out, and lives lost requirement for the ranks are bugged. I genuinely enjoy twin sticks a lot, and this game almost ruined the genre for me.

Quick Score: 4/5 Notes: Fun twin stick game, though the entire progression system feels completely unnecessary and tacked on. The runs themselves aren't long enough to justify it and it ends up feeling like a prerequisite chore for no reason. The game is very well made all around, it just feels extremely lacking in content, the rounds are over in the blink of an eye and hardly pose any challenge at all if you are at all familiar with bullet hell games. The only actual challenge is going for S ranks, but even those aren't really all that difficult or interesting.

Overwhelmed est un excellent twin stick shooter proposant des idées originales. 6 vaisseaux sont disponibles, chacun avec son propre tir, un certain nombre de dash, de points de vie et un pouvoir ultime se déclenchant lorsque vous passez en surchauffe, vous devrez donc constamment surveiller la jauge pour le lancer lorsque c'est le plus utile, à vous de ne pas spammer le bouton de tir non stop. En plus de ça chaque vaisseau a son propre niveau constitué de 14 vagues d'ennemis + un boss, j'aime beaucoup ce choix. Après chaque essai vous pourrez utiliser les crédits accumulés pour récupérer des bonus passifs et essayer d'atteindre le SSS sur les 6 défis. Really nice game, once the stats are much improved I think we make really stratospheric runs! fairly short session but well rewarded despite the first failures of my runs! it looks so good! ^^ Jeu vachement sympa, une fois les stats bien améliorées je pense qu'on fait des run vachement stratosphérique ! session assez courtes mais bien récompensé malgrès les premièrs échéque de mes runs ! ça s'annonce trop bien ! ^^

Un jeu au top avec une bonne ambiance et au game pay intuitif mais pointue. Les personnes qui cherche un peut de difficulté vont être ravie ^^.

What a cool game! I love the different ships you can unlock, and the awesome soundtracks that go with it. The upgrades are really cool too (team shuriken here)
