Overcoming Pain

Overcoming Pain is a game I received a code for on Keymailer, except the Keymailer listing called the game “Mysterious Oasis” for some reason. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=arXPSnEGVno I’m not sure how the developer managed to list another name for their game specifically on Keymailer, but that alone should show what you are in for if you are unfortunate enough to play this asset flip. All of the content is purchased from the Unity store, which is something I am very used to dealing with these days. Both maps, the weapons, enemies, et cetera are just thrown into a shoddy product with little gameplay value. You have two different maps to choose from, each with a day and night version. Both maps are incredibly small and not laid out in a way that makes a horde mode FPS enjoyable in the slightest. The weapons are placed in corners and dead ends which makes it nearly impossible to get one without being surrounded, there were no ammo pickups for weapons beyond the one or two you find next to the weapon on the ground. After you run out of ammo you just resort to melee until you die or the game ends. There are three enemies in the game, all of which look like they are from completely different games. There are stock zombies, robots and soldiers. You can fight them alone or combine them together to make it look more like a child playing with toys from three different sets. The soldiers and robots will shoot you with pinpoint accuracy, which is made even worse in the factory level which has nearly no cover. You will die in a few hits. There is a slow motion effect that seems to randomly trigger when killing an enemy with no explanation. Everything is slowed, including your character and this makes it infuriating to deal with. For some reason even though the enemies move slower during this mode, they shoot you at the same speed which results in cheap deaths. You can have an A.I teammate back you up, but he isn’t much help as he will deal friendly damage to you if you are in front of him when an enemy becomes visible. His model also only blinks with one eye for some reason and I find that hilarious. Overcoming Pain is a giant waste of time for anyone who plays it. Just get Left 4 Dead or any other real game if you want to shoot hordes of enemies. Экшен с кучей оружия и толпами врагов. Выбираем карту, сложность, режим игры, вид противников и бежим всех мочить. На карте мы появляемся безоружными. Защищаться придется тем, что подберете (оружие на уровне выпадает случайным образом). Хорошо, что при появлении рядом с персонажем обязательно можно что-то найти. Патроны заканчиваются быстро, поэтому стрелять надо метко. Если повезет, то сможете подобрать катану или нож, но добежать до солдат или роботов с холодным оружием равносильно самоубийству, таким оружием лучше мочить зомби. Отличная развлекалочка. Небольшая, но динамичная и с отличной графикой. Жаль без мультиплеера. Чтобы проще было проходить карты, можно взять компьютерного помощника. Он не слишком умен, но неплохо стреляет.

Абсолютно не интересная игра,не тратьте на нее время! В игре всего две карты на которых можно играть днем и ночью,3 режима игры,6 видов оружия и аж 3 разновидности врагов,причем 2 вида "тупых" и один "убивающий сразу" т.е баланса никакого. Когда играешь ощущение что это какая то альфа версия,которую еще "допиливать" нужно,хотя версия игры 1.01! К покупке не рекомендую даже с 90% скидкой!

Un juego que me recuerda muchisimo al CS:GO por el movimiento de camara como de las armas en mano, Esta bien para entretenerse y darle un poco de caña lo malo es que no tiene online coop y solo te deja añadir boots compañeros que se quedan mirando al enemigo y mueren de un golpe. En fin es un juego que para echarse unas risas y hacer un gameplay para el canal viene bien, saludos comunidad

Sad, is about nicest thing I can say for this game. extremely poor poorly optimized, getting 39 FPS with FX-8350 & 1080ti, gameplay does not exist. Only way to change game options is at windowed dialog box @ start so you have to re-start game to change graphics are sub-par & AI is a joke. Got on sale so only paid a few dollars, which I consider now a waste of money, don't waste your money. Think any postive reviews are by the ones who made this game or their friends LOL, seriously read the negative reviews, skip the postive.
