Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Every market we collect.
Charts
Each storefront's own chart, in its own country — the closest public signal to sales where none is published. A country missing from a list is one we don't collect there, not one where the game doesn't chart.
No United States chart position — it charts only in the markets below.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 4.14/day in the week to Aug 20 → 109.57/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Poland over the last 30 days: the 21 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 12 places towards #1, and the 2,501 moves with no price cut behind them went 1 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About
A WW1 action game built around fully destructible battlefields where chaos reigns supreme. Explosions tear through terrain, fortifications collapse, and the front line can change shape minute to minute.
Over The Top: WWI turns the grim setting of the Great War into a frantic playground of destruction where plans rarely ever survive first contact.
Charge as a rifleman, build as an engineer, clear trenches as a pyromaniac flamethrower specialist, or call in airstrikes as an officer. Each class has a clear job on the battlefield, plus plenty of room for improvisation. Choose from three factions: France, Britain, or Germany, each with eight distinct classes. Unlock new equipment and customization as you play.
A dynamic, destructive WW1 Sandbox: blow up everything, dig anywhere, reshape trenches, collapse buildings, destroy fortifications. Explosions leave permanent changes that affect sightlines, routes, and cover. Fight across multiple maps, playable in different seasons and daytimes. Use the full map editor to create and share your own battlegrounds.
Dive into massive 200-player battles! Drop into the middle of an epic war movie, packed with flying debris, collapsing trenches, charging tanks and objectives changing hands as the ground itself gets carved up - pure multiplayer madness awaits you.
Bring flamethrowers, poison gas, shovels, dynamite, artillery, airplanes, machine guns, and a lineup of vehicles and experimental tanks. Gear up with a mix of historical weapons, use a vast lineup of different vehicles, and other items: slap enemies with a baguette or play the bagpipe to boost morale! Have you ever driven a tank with 10 other players inside? In our game, you can do so!

i truely believe this is the best ww1 shooter to ever exist in all of humanity.
Over The Top: WWI really surprised me in a positive way. For me, the heart of the game is clearly the massive battles. When hundreds of soldiers are fighting at the same time, artillery is landing everywhere, machine guns are firing across no man's land and entire groups are charging out of the trenches, the game can create moments that genuinely feel like the huge battles of World War I. I especially like the trench system. You can dig your own trenches, expand positions and prepare defensive lines. Because of that, the battlefield can actually change during a match instead of just being a static map. The class system is also very well done. Every class has its own strengths and purpose. Officers can make a real difference, especially when a team communicates and plays tactically. A well-organized team can completely control a battle, and that is something I really enjoy. The game also gives you a lot of freedom in how you want to play. You can find a good position and spend your time sniping, support your team with heavy weapons, defend a trench or simply charge straight into the enemy lines with everyone else. There is almost always something happening. Graphically, I also like the game. Of course, this is not a huge AAA production, but when artillery, smoke, vehicles and hundreds of soldiers are all involved in the same battle, it can look extremely impressive. Most importantly, the game is simply a lot of fun. I honestly did not expect to have more fun with this than with Battlefield 6, but at the moment I do. The developers have found a very interesting niche here. There is still quite a lot of work to do, though. More maps would be very welcome, and I think proper campaigns or larger connected scenarios would fit this game extremely well. Some explosion effects and visual effects could also be improved. I actually like the fact that the vehicles feel heavy and sluggish, because that fits early tanks very well. However, the actual driving physics could still be improved. The view as a gunner or crew member inside a tank also needs more work. The biggest area that needs improvement for me is the first-person perspective. It needs a major overhaul. Animations, weapon handling, aiming and shooting should feel smoother and more responsive. Another important issue for the future is anti-cheat protection. At the moment, the game mainly relies on server-side systems and server administrators instead of using a traditional anti-cheat solution. Server-side protection can prevent or limit many types of cheating, but things such as ESP or wallhacks are still a potential problem. If the player base continues to grow, I think the developers really need to invest more into this area. It does not necessarily have to be an extremely intrusive kernel-level anti-cheat, but stronger detection systems, good reporting tools, active server administration and additional server-side checks would be very important. In a tactical shooter, even one player using ESP can have a major impact on an entire match. This is something that should be addressed before cheating becomes a serious problem, not after. Despite all of that, the foundation of Over The Top: WWI is very good. The game still needs work, and you can clearly see in some areas that this is not a massive AAA studio. But at the same time, it offers something that very few other shooters currently provide. Massive battles, player-built trenches, artillery, tanks, different classes, officers, teamwork and complete battlefield chaos all come together to create a genuinely entertaining game. If you are interested in World War I and enjoy large-scale battles, I can easily recommend Over The Top: WWI. It is not perfect yet. But it is already incredibly fun to play, and I am very interested to see what the developers do with it in the future.
10 out of 10
This game is incredibly fun. I love the building and how dynamic each game is as they all play out differently. It's slightly janky which I feel adds to it's charm. Developers have got a great idea going. I hope they continue to improve on the game and work out some of the bugs.
Pretty ok but not really worth it if you already own BF1 or Holdfast... The digging mechanic and destrucible terrain is very nice but sometimes it feels like you have to dig yourself (and die for every meter) closer to the enemy. Looking at the ground for 5 minutes straight while shoveling isnt really fun, also building ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ of bunkers barricades is also not really fun but its essential for the team especially when youre on defense. Overall the game is ok for its salce price and will bring you fun for some hours, but i found it to get boring after like 8-10 hours....especially since the guns are not really precise and shooting beyond 75meters often feels way to rng....
Loved every moment.. it needs some work but it's great with the boys for a few hours :D
Feel Fun to play.
