This is a very charming game. There is [i]something[/i] about starting out in a trench, and within some ten minutes or so, no man's land will be entirely scattered with holes from artillery and grenades which gives you incredibly dynamic and cinematic cover. The trench building is solid, even if a bit too slow for my taste. However, it's one of the aspects that blew me away: the bots... were digging trenches. Unlike other games, where bots blindly rush towards a point or get stuck in pathing (thus far I've only seen ONE instance of bots getting stuck in the game, though), they were actively digging trenches towards the objective, or defensive trenches. The characters are also noteworthy. Albeit certainly stylized, they offer a certain degree of variety and are very appropriate. When you run around, you can hear the mess tins clacking. The animations, too, are well-done, and even feature animations for [i]rotating[/i] the character, that you can see when you rotate the character around while picking gear. All the countries also have different accents, if you're into that. There are bots, which is the mode I've mostly hovered around, all the way up to 100 vs 100, albeit I usually play 50 vs 50 and the maps already feel very full. The game fits within 8 or so GB, which makes it veeery light, and I've felt no hiccups or lag playing 50 vs 50, so I'll probably try 100 vs 100 sometime. Admittedly, the first-person animations are a bit rough, yes, and some don't make sense (I've reloaded a Lebel with an en-bloc clip (honestly cursed, and funny at times). I know, however, that development is a continuous process, and from what I've gathered so far, animations are in active work, since the last update featured a few reworks, and a similar game (Easy Red 2), had very rough animations early on, but those were ironed out. The game is already very fun even if a bit confusing in first-person, so I can only wait for the future. All in all, this is a game worth considering buying if you're a casual player: the developers are incredibly easy-going on us, going so far as giving solo players point rewards (that you use to buy gear), albeit somewhat reduced, the bots are fun to fight against (and they go so far as flanking you! Flanking!), and will for sure scratch the large-scale war itch, if you happen to have that. If you're on the edge, I'd suggest waiting for a sale then, but definitely would recommend this game.

Most Fun game I had in a while, Just please optimize the game more, and add content. Great game.

This game is so much fun. Nothing like reliving my great grandfathers trauma. It does need moderation though.
