Welcome to the TAU System, Station Commander!

Build, expand and exploit every resource you can to construct a planet-spanning space-based industrial complex the likes of which the galaxy has never seen.
Construct Robot Freighters, Wormholes and even harness the awesome power of Antimatter in your quest for ever-greater industrial mastery.

Atomize asteroids, mine ores, deploy cloud-miners and more to gather raw materials ready to be processed into advanced materials, items and parts.
Set up elaborate supply-chains, automate resource-gathering and optimize your stations to fulfill your objectives as efficiently as possible.

Construct Starships to complete objectives and unlock ever-more-advanced technologies to aid you on your mission to bring this hostile alien star system to heel.
Civilian and Military vessels will need vastly different and more complex construction techniques - some more dangerous to you and your station than others.

Found multiple stations across numerous planets in order to exploit rare resources and connect them together via wormhole to create interstellar supply chains.
But beware: you are not the only force in this alien star system and you'll need to protect yourself and your station to thrive out here.

Recover mysterious alien artifacts along the way and use them to unlock powerful upgrades for your Station and Drone - letting you take the fight to anything that stands in your way.

After getting used to the controls the game just sucks you in.
starts out like it would turn into fun but its more annoying than anything
This is a stellar game (pun intended) that is not a cpu or gpu hog for my humble system, runs great ! The only thing I did not like is the light blue haze over everything, the Dev did say in the forums they would take it in to consideration and maybe we can get a nice clear black as space look. If you like a good factory sim where you can tweak every step of the production, this will work for you.
Outworld Station is an arcanoid factory sim. The story is simple: the system is completely screwed, and you need to get the hell away from the black hole. The Short Answer: Is It Worth Buying? If you just want something running in the background so you can watch a factory work, sure—but only pick it up on a sale for now. Playtime 3/10 It takes about 20 hours for absolutely everything if you just focus on completing quests instead of trying to optimize your setups. Story 3/10 The system is doomed, and your only goal is to escape the hole. Music 3/10 Features AI voice acting and some incredibly bizarre sound effects. Graphics 4/10 Typical stylized Unity engine look. Mechanics 5/10 The game features standard factory sim mechanics spread across several worlds with different resources. The building system feels strange and unusual at first, but after literally an hour, you can tell the developer has actually played other games in the genre; there are smart building alternatives and multi-choice options. It's not perfect everywhere, but it's acceptable. The game features multi-level building, but it's incredibly hard to visually read, so I just stuck to playing on a single level. The main ship movement mechanic is very cool—I actually wish we had something similar in Space Rangers 2, but no such luck. The factory grids are entirely cell-based. On the downside, managing shipping caravans is awful; you can't view them in a proper spreadsheet or table layout, meaning you have to manually click through every single one. Because of this, the docks are constantly getting clogged. The primary end-game mechanic is building useless ships, which feels very similar to resource sinks in Satisfactory. Enemies exist, and while they don't really stand out from one another, they don't really need to. There is also no proper statistics panel, or at least I just didn't like the way it was implemented. Personal Take I absolutely loved controlling the ship (except for a few annoying moments during construction) thanks to the non-target control scheme. What I didn't enjoy were the upgrades, as gathering resources for them feels a bit tedious. The blueprint system is somewhat clunky, and the way you manage furnaces and similar machinery is also pretty inconvenient. Overall Score: 65/100
I have played through this game twice now and thoroughly enjoyed it both times with plans to play through again. There are many paths that can be taken to get through the game and its nice to have those choices and not be forced into a single "optimal" path. For me this game was more about just the base building and enjoying the story so it was also nice to have the option to turn off enemy aggression and random events. Overall an excellent game and these folks are pretty responsive over on the discord for it so I like that too. Games like this for me are background sort of games, set them up and let them run, for someone more inclined to speed through it would not take the nearly 400 hours I have in it so far to complete it twice, so it really is just up to you, fast or slow, completionist or minimalist, however you want.
Outworld Station has some pretty interesting end-game challenges compared to other factory games, I liked the fact that there's a heavy price for an unbalanced setup - you won't just produce items at a lower rate - if you mess up certain chains of production, your stuff might literally blow up. This feature can be turned off, but I recommend keeping it on. It stops you from slapping together a haphazard factory and leaving it running for a couple of days. The game ain't perfect, several people mentioned that features like ship control serve no real purpose at the moment. Optimization is also not so great, the game struggled near the end, and on certain screens there might be a slight memory leak. Overall though it's worth the asking price in my opinion
amazing

I am enjoying building space stations and slowly expanding the factory.... I mean station.
