About
Outta Hand is a high-energy platforming adventure that lets you embody one of the Hand-People, wide-eyed, hop-happy lab experiments with the power to jump great heights, leap impossible lengths, and shake hands from… really, really far away. Like a whole big dining room away.
Due to not being dumb enough, loveable as you are, Dr. Vendelvom has selected you for immediate termination. Not like fired gone, more like dead gone.
To save yourself and your brethren, you must platform, jump, bounce, and punch your way through the evil doctor’s laboratory with your… uh… very long arms, to take down him and all his baddies. With multiple levels and boss fights along with an endless mode, things might get, shall we say, a little bit “out of hand?” Get it?! No? Fine…

Great Game! Finished the story mode and im super excited to play the endless mode and brawler mode! The visuals are great!! 10/10
The only thing I am upset about is being 20% through already. This is game is a real pure core VR platformer. Takes what Gorilla Tag proved the be fun and then took that concept and made what I think would be a genre sparking entry in an ideal world. This is basically the foundation of the VR version of the classic NES platformer like Mario or Earth Worm Jim (there's no gun but there's character based movement) and so on. I really hope more is done with this. It's crazy how long VR has been out for, before someone made something like this. The game is VR purity, but more needs to be done. 20% already. The last 20 better be freaking intense. 20% through and I only played for 1 hour, and I was sweating and panting in my current weakened state from playing lazier VR games, and Timberborn, lately. You have to understand that the 1 hour was of decent mental and physical intensity and it left me feeling like golden rays of sunshine were coursing through my body form the fun after an arduous night of work. FIRST CLASS!
personal rating: 7.9 (potentially a 8.5 in the future) if your looking for a short fun vr game that isnt the usually boring manual reloading, thumbstick locomotion, physics based vr game, this is the one. although the game is pretty short, its still really fun to play through, the movement is interesting since instead of it working out of the box, you have to learn it which i like, i learned that this game isnt about running on arms but more like slapping the ground to build momentum. i do recommend (if its a possibility) to wait for multiplayer to buy this game since co op or pvp would make a great edition to this game. now that the steam release is up, there is also a HUGE possibility for modding (maps, playermodels, npc's, modded multiplayer ect) as a message to the dev's to this game, i really love the game and its potential. with the features listed above, this game would reach its full potential
What a gem! I was grinning ear to ear playing this :D I love the confidence you guys have to make a game about a simple yet fun game mechanic and push it further and further with each level. Absolutely recommending this game to all my mates who have VR! Ideas for the sequel/DLC: Grapple hook tongue or big stretchy finger that stabs something as a swinging point (every sequel is better if it has a grapple hook) CO-OP (that would be so fun lol) And if possible I would love to see community maps/steam workshop integration!
Just finished the campaign, great game. I like this kind of gameplay based on physical propulsion, and it's well tied to the universe and character design. Many great ideas and very polished execution. Love the hand slapping sound. After the campaign there are extra modes (endless parkour and fighting arena) with scoring and leaderboards. And the challenge to collect everything in campaign levels. Hope the dev team will do another one.
I'm giving this a thumbs up for its originality. I do wonder if I will finish this one as I'm sweating my ass off from just finishing the tutorial and I'm dead tired. I wish the movement could also be done by buttons. But if you want a fun workout in VR, go knock yourself out :)
A must-play for anyone looking to experience something truly different in VR. Its unique movement mechanics sets it apart from other games, with just enough challenge to keep you going. its zany art style for environments, characters and enemies is what drew me in, but the actual gameplay along with the humorous tone of this entire world made me play more and more.
Great Vr platformer, somtimes the controls feel a bit unresponsive somtimes when you try to move however i dunno if its a issue with the valve index but other wise its fun
Love this game! I have it on my quest, and now I can finally play it on my SmartFridge
Outta Hand is a wild VR platformer that's sure to get your heart pumping and your arms flailing! You play as a 'Hand-Person', a lab experiment with incredibly long arms and the ability to jump to insane heights. The goal? Escape the clutches of the evil Dr. Vendelvom!! The movement in this game is unlike anything I've experienced in VR before. It takes a bit of getting used to, but once you master the art of bouncing, leaping, and swinging your massive arms, it's incredibly satisfying! The levels are cleverly designed with plenty of opportunities to put your newfound skills to the test. What really makes Outta Hand really stand out is its over-the-top humor and charm. The characters are quirky, the dialogue is hilarious, and the whole game has a feel that's hard not to love! I totally recommend this game if you're looking for a unique and energetic VR experience that will give you a good workout and leave you with a smile on your face! It is definitely worth checking out!
