Outside the Blocks

Excellent programme de création de diorama. On ne voit pas passer le temps en l'utilisant. Le seul regret c'est qu'on ne puisse pas sauver en vidéo, seules les images fixes sont sauvegardées. C'est dommage car les animations sont excellentes.

German AND English Review: Ger: Wie man so oft liest muss auch ich schreiben: "Eigentliche Bewerte ich fast nie Spiele." In meinen 31 Jahren habe ich wohl maximal 2-3 Spiele bewertet. Dieses hier wird eines davon, weil es das verdient. Ich habe noch keine vollen 2 Stunden in dem Spiel und ich weiß schon jetzt: Es wird mein absolutes Favorite "cozy" Game. Bisher hatte diesen Thron "MakeRoom" inne. Doch MakeRoom wurde nun abgelöst von Outside the Blocks. Was soll ich sagen? Rundum ein Traum. Super einfach zu bedienen. MEGA schöne Licht und Wetter-Effekte. Es gibt sogar Nebel und die Intensität der Wellen oder Wassereffekte lassen sich ebenfalls einstellen, womit ich nie gerechnet hätte! Die idee, dass sich alles in einem Diorama befindet ist auch wirklich süß! Ich will euch kurz erklären, wie mein erstes Diorama zustande kam: Ich hatte Videos über das Spiel gesehen und MUSSTE es sofort kaufen (sogar grade im Sale für 11,09€, hätte aber auch sogar 20 gezahlt!). Dann lädt es mein Pc herunter und ich lege mich für einen kleinen Nap schlafen. Während des aufwachens hab ich an das Spiel gedacht und hatte plötzlich ein Bild vor Augen: Felsige Küstenregion. Ein Haus, das auf einer kleinen Erhöhung steht, umringt von Spitz-zulaufenden Steinen. Unterhalb der Anhöhe breitet sich ein kleiner See mit Fischen, und dichtem Nebel aus. Ein Steiniger und unebener Pfad führt von dort aus nach oben zur Hütte. Ich hätte es nicht erwartet, aber GENAU DAS, konnte ich dann 1:1 umsetzen. Wie aus meiner Vorstellung. Das habe ich noch nie in einem Spiel dieser Art erlebt. Ich bin voll und ganz zufrieden und werde diesen Entwickler ab jetzt garantiert im Auge behalten. Ich hoffe, er erschafft noch weitere solcher Meisterwerke. __________________________________________ Eng: As you so often see in Steam reviews, I have to start by saying: "I almost never review games.” In my 31 years, I’ve probably reviewed no more than 2-3 games. This one is going to be one of them, because it absolutely deserves it. I haven’t even played for a full two hours yet, and I already know: this is going to be my absolute favorite cozy game. Until now, that spot belonged to MakeRoom. But MakeRoom has officially been dethroned by Outside the Blocks. What can I say? It’s an absolute dream from start to finish. Everything is incredibly easy and intuitive to use, and the lighting and weather effects are GORGEOUS. There’s even fog, and you can adjust the intensity of the waves and other water effects as well -something I never expected! And the whole idea of having everything take place inside a diorama is just incredibly charming. Let me briefly tell you how my first diorama came to life: I had seen a few videos of this game and I HAD TO BUY IT IMMEDIATELY. (It’s even on sale right now for €11.09, although I honestly would have happily paid €20 for it.) So I started the download and decided to lie down for a short nap while I waited. While I was waking up, I started thinking about the game, and suddenly I had a picture in my head: A rocky coastal region. A small house sitting on a raised piece of land, surrounded by sharp, pointed rocks. Below the hill is a small lake filled with fish and covered in thick fog. A rocky, uneven path leads up from the lake to the little house. I honestly didn’t expect it, but I was able to recreate that exact image almost 1:1 in the game. Exactly as I had imagined it. I have never experienced that in a game of this kind before. Being able to have an idea in my head and then actually bring it to life so closely is just incredible. I’m completely satisfied with this game, and I’ll definitely be keeping an eye on this developer from now on. I really hope he creates many more masterpieces like this.
