Outlast 2 introduces you to Sullivan Knoth and his followers, who left our wicked world behind to give birth to Temple Gate, a town, deep in the wilderness and hidden from civilization. Knoth and his flock are preparing for the tribulations of the end of times and you’re right in the thick of it.

Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 6.43/day in the week to Aug 18 → 18.14/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Poland over the last 30 days: the 21 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 12 places towards #1, and the 2,501 moves with no price cut behind them went 1 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

it was very great and amazing but i kinda got confused where to go at that chicken wire fence part
ENG: Outlast 2 doesn’t try to scare you with cheap jumpscares. It just drops you in the middle of nowhere – some godforsaken village lost in the mountains, where the air itself feels wrong. You wander through it, and every step makes it clearer: this place isn’t just abandoned, it’s cursed. The violence isn’t there to shock for the sake of shock. You see the bodies, the blood, the aftermath of something truly sick, and you don’t feel fear so much as a cold, blunt realization: “Whoa, what are these people even doing here?” It’s not about being disgusted – it’s about being stunned by the scale of the horror, like stumbling into a nightmare that’s been going on for years without anyone stopping it. And then the world turns this deep, unnatural crimson. The whole screen goes red, and it’s weirdly beautiful – like the sky itself is bleeding. That moment hits hard: it’s terrifying, but also strangely mesmerizing. It’s the kind of visual that sticks with you, the kind you can’t unsee. You’re constantly on the run, hiding, trying to stay quiet while something is hunting you through the dark. There’s no weapon, no way to fight back, just pure survival. And somehow, that’s what makes it work: you’re not a hero, you’re just a guy who got in too deep and now has to claw his way out. Outlast 2 is a good game. It doesn’t need to make you jump out of your seat to get under your skin. It does it with atmosphere, with the sense of being lost somewhere you never should have gone, and with visuals that turn horror into something almost hypnotic.

Korkuyorum
great experience but doesnt come close to the first game. more gross than scary.
No where near as good as the original Outlast, and generally a pretty bad horror game. Now a lot of my disdain stems from playing on the hardest difficulty, it made the game unenjoyable in many ways. Enemies see you and track you immediately and kill you in 1 hit (2 really, but by the time you figure out what's happening, the second punch has already landed). Hiding spots are useless and this game feels way more like a walking sim, going from point A to point B with way way way too many chase sequences that makes any semblance of horror moot. Story wasn't as good either with less of a government conspiracy this time around; I felt very little need or want to read any documents to dive into the lore.
