Outlast 2 introduces you to Sullivan Knoth and his followers, who left our wicked world behind to give birth to Temple Gate, a town, deep in the wilderness and hidden from civilization. Knoth and his flock are preparing for the tribulations of the end of times and you’re right in the thick of it.

Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 6.43/day in the week to Aug 18 → 18.14/day in the week after.
Too few observations to say whether a discount moves this store's chart at all: across the last 30 days Steam · Top Sellers · Poland has just 17 day-to-day chart moves that followed a price cut, against 2,502 that did not. We are publishing the count instead of a direction — 20 is the fewest we will draw a conclusion from, and price collection outside the United States began on 6 August 2026.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

nice game
Outlast 2 is the only game where you start off thinking, “I can handle this,” and five minutes later you’re crouched in a cornfield whispering apologies to God, your camcorder, and your own heartbeat. It’s terrifying, chaotic, and unintentionally one of the funniest horror experiences ever created—because panic makes humans do stupid things, and Outlast 2 thrives on your stupidity. The Setting: Welcome to Rural Hell You’re dropped into a remote desert village full of cultists who look like they haven’t slept, bathed, or blinked since the late 80s. Every building is falling apart. Every villager wants you dead. Every shadow looks suspicious. Even the chickens seem hostile. It’s the kind of place where you’d walk in, take one look around, and immediately walk back out if this were real life. But no—you’re a journalist. You have questions. And the cultists have knives. Your Camcorder: The Only Thing Keeping You Alive (Barely) Just like the first game, your camcorder is your best friend. It’s your flashlight, your map, your emotional support device. It also has the battery life of a cheap knockoff brand you bought at a gas station. You’ll be in pitch-black darkness, shaking, sweating, and whispering: “Please don’t die on me now…” And the camcorder responds by draining battery like it’s speedrunning your suffering. The Microphone Feature: Because Hearing Your Death Approach Is Important Outlast 2 adds a microphone so you can hear enemies nearby. This sounds helpful until you’re crouched in a bush listening to footsteps getting louder and louder while you try not to breathe like a panicked walrus. You’ll sit there for 20 minutes, frozen, thinking: “If I move, I die. If I stay, I die slower.” It’s horror. It’s comedy. It’s cardio. The Chase Scenes: Pure Chaos and Zero Dignity Every chase in Outlast 2 is a disaster. You’ll sprint through cornfields, crawl under houses, jump over fences, and still get caught because you tripped over a bucket or ran directly into a wall. You will: Panic Scream Run the wrong way Forget how doors work Die Repeat It’s like watching your brain blue-screen in real time. The Enemies: People Who Gargle Gravel and Hate You Personally The cultists in Outlast 2 don’t just want you dead—they want you emotionally damaged first. They scream biblical threats, chase you with farm tools, and appear out of nowhere like they’re trying to win a horror-themed hide-and-seek championship. Every encounter feels like being chased by someone who smells like old dirt and rage. The Story: Disturbing, Wild, and Surprisingly Deep Underneath all the screaming, Outlast 2 has a genuinely compelling story—religion, trauma, hallucinations, conspiracies, and enough psychological horror to make your therapist retire. You won’t understand everything. But you will feel everything. Verdict Outlast 2 is a terrifying masterpiece wrapped in a panic-induced comedy show. It’s brutal, atmospheric, chaotic, and unforgettable. It will make you scream, laugh, hide, and question your survival instincts. It’s the perfect game for anyone who enjoys fear, suffering, and accidentally sprinting into danger because you pressed the wrong button. If you want a horror experience that feels like being chased by nightmares through a haunted cornfield, Outlast 2 delivers. If you want peace… go play Stardew Valley.
