Outer Wilds is a masterpiece of a puzzle game; taking engaging gameplay and combining it with world building that’s endlessly satisfying to uncover, and memorable locations that you delve deeper into with every time loop. The game is also backed by a minimal score that knows the right times to draw attention to itself, and is incorporated seamlessly with locations, events and characters. The act of piecing together the story behind the galaxy and those that once inhabited it is done very well, though some of what you have to do towards the game’s later hours can feel a bit obscure. Outer Wilds is truely a unique game from start to finish, and there were some moments in my 15 hours of playtime that I will remember fondly for a long time to come.

Outer Wilds è semplicemente una opera d'arte d'intelligenza mostruosa. Ogni dettaglio del gioco è spiegato in maniera sublime e nulla è lasciato al caso. Quello che più mi piace è che si tratta di un gioco esplorativo dove non ci sono abilità sbloccabili, la vera abilità sei tu stesso. All'inizio potrebbe essere frustrante almeno finché non capisci come leggere i segnali che l'universo del gioco ti fornisce a disposizione. Il gioco combina esplorazione pure con enigmi ambientali pazzeschi, una lore mozzafiato. Tutto si incastra alla perfezione in un mosaico gigantesco e alla fine del viaggio, ogni singola domanda ha una risposta chiara e soddisfacente. Ultimo ma non per importanza, la bellezza di outer wilds sta nella sua incredibile libertà di gioco. Si può giocare in 1000 modi differenti, quindi ciascun giocatore avrà una esperienza di gioco diversa dagli altri, ore di gioco inferiori o maggiori eppure, nonostante ognuno viaggi a modo suo, arriva sempre a uno splendido e profondo finale da lasciarti senza fiato
Rule N° 1 : NEVER watch any video about this game in case it contain a spoiler or anything to ( One of my biggest regret concerning videogame come from my discovery of Outer Wild by a one hour long video with a lot of detail i would love to forget ) Rule N° 2 : BUY this game Rule N° 3 : Enjoy the discovery of many mysteries. Enjoy the life of an archaeologist. I never thought this kind of game could suit me, but i was wrong, i wish for something which could make me forget the spoiler i saw... Alcohol ? Mad cow disease ? All the solution i think about would make my brain not able to function, and a functioning brain is kind of useful for playing this marvel, oh yeah and going through everyday life also. But if i forget the spoiler i would have never bought this game... my own loop.
