Outer Wilds presents the player with a great space mystery to solve. It is mostly a puzzle game with a cute cartoony art style and no combat, although the space flight mechanics require some mastery. The game is inventive and beautiful, and the writing is engrossing and strikes deeply at certain emotions. Also, the soundtrack is gorgeous. That is really all I can say to describe Outer Wilds because almost any further information spoils *something* about the game. If I were you, I wouldn't even read what the studio has written about it on the store page. Just buy the game and play it, Outer Wilds was one of my all time favorite experiences in gaming. It probably will be one of yours too.

I don't even know what to say. if someone recommends this game to you, listen to them TRUST ME (also, ran just fine on a newish non-gaming laptop but you might have to adjust the settings) don't look up anything about it either

This game was confusing at first, but once you get the hang of things, it snowballs into an immersive universe and a wonderful story. It really feels like you have a purpose, a mission, to help save those you love, and to help bring peace to a species lost to time. I really enjoyed this game, and would recommend it to anyone looking for a good puzzle. See you out there explorer!

This is the most beautiful game I have ever touched. Nothing I can say will express how much I recommend Outer Wilds to anyone. The way you discover everything yourself leaves so much more of an impact because you know how much every detail matters. This game will resonate with you forever after you play it.
