Named Game of the Year 2019 by Giant Bomb, Polygon, Eurogamer, and The Guardian, Outer Wilds is a critically-acclaimed and award-winning open world mystery about a solar system trapped in an endless time loop.

Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Charts
Each storefront's own chart, in its own country — the closest public signal to sales where none is published. A country missing from a list is one we don't collect there, not one where the game doesn't chart.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 48/day in the week to Aug 22 → 45.71/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,402 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Reviews
Great exploration/puzzle game. Cool world and story. You play at your own pace and go where you want to go. Freedom to go where you wanna go and get there how you wanna get there. Some puzzles were straight forward while other ones I had to look up, not many though. All in all a very cool game. If I could give some advice it would be to not look anything up unless you are really stuck.

There are games that entertain you, games that challenge you, and games that stay with you long after you've finished them. Outer Wilds belongs firmly in the last category. It isn't simply one of the best games I've ever played—it is one of the most memorable experiences I've had in any form of storytelling. From the moment you take your first flight, the game fills you with an overwhelming sense of curiosity. It never holds your hand, never points you toward a checklist of objectives, and never tells you exactly where to go. Instead, it trusts you to explore. Every strange landmark, every mysterious ruin, and every celestial body invites a single question: "What's going on here?" The brilliance of Outer Wilds lies in its design. Progress isn't measured by leveling up or collecting better equipment. Your only real reward is knowledge. Every discovery naturally leads to another question, and every answer makes the universe feel larger, richer, and more interconnected than before. Few games respect the player's intelligence as much as this one does. The solar system feels alive in a way that's difficult to describe. Every planet has its own personality, its own rules, and its own unforgettable sights. Exploring them is consistently exciting because you never know what you'll find next. The game rewards observation, experimentation, and simple curiosity more than almost anything else. Its soundtrack deserves special praise as well. The music is beautiful, comforting, mysterious, and emotional all at once. There are moments where a single melody, paired with what you're seeing, creates an atmosphere that words struggle to capture. What makes Outer Wilds truly exceptional, however, is that it can only be experienced for the first time once. It's a game built entirely around discovery. Once you understand its mysteries, you can never truly play it as a newcomer again. That makes every revelation feel precious, and it makes recommending the game surprisingly difficult—you want people to know how incredible it is, but the less they know before starting, the better. This is not a game about fast reflexes or constant action. It's a game about wonder. About asking questions, following your instincts, and slowly piecing together something far greater than you first imagined. It trusts your curiosity, and in return, it delivers one of the most rewarding journeys gaming has to offer. If you're even remotely interested in exploration, mystery, or science fiction, do yourself a favor: play Outer Wilds. Read as little as possible beforehand. Avoid spoilers. Give yourself the freedom to discover its secrets on your own. When the credits finally roll, you'll understand why so many people consider it not just a great game, but an unforgettable experience. Some games are fun. Some games are masterpieces. Outer Wilds is an adventure that quietly reminds you why we explore in the first place.
I still find myself thinking about this game, even though I completed it quite a while ago now. It's one of those games you wish you could completely erase from your memory just so you can experience it for the first time again. The only way you can really go wrong is by not going in blind. Don't look anything up. Don't spoil anything for yourself. Just play it and let yourself figure it out. Genuinely one of the most memorable games I've played.
