Named Game of the Year 2019 by Giant Bomb, Polygon, Eurogamer, and The Guardian, Outer Wilds is a critically-acclaimed and award-winning open world mystery about a solar system trapped in an endless time loop.

Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Charts
Each storefront's own chart, in its own country — the closest public signal to sales where none is published. A country missing from a list is one we don't collect there, not one where the game doesn't chart.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 48/day in the week to Aug 22 → 45.71/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,402 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Outer Wilds is the best game I have ever played. On paper and in reality, it is the only game I can truly call flawless. The game features brilliant mechanics. The entire solar system is open to you from the very second you start playing, and that is the beauty of it—you explore entirely at your own pace. Because of this, every player's playthrough is a completely unique experience. The gameplay itself focuses mostly on exploring and reading rather than standard game mechanics. In fact, it is unlike anything you see in other games, seamlessly blending exploration, reading, puzzle-solving, and connecting all the clues together. And the story... oh god, the story. Where do I even begin? The narrative alone could single-handedly carry this game to be one of the greatest in gaming history. But it doesn't stop there. When you combine that narrative with the incredible gameplay and mechanics, you get the best game ever made. Without spoiling anything, the story is truly one of a kind, original, and builds to an incredibly satisfying conclusion. You control the pace, and the story is told in the most perfect way possible. Outer Wilds went from just a name I saw on people's "greatest games of all time" lists, to actually becoming the best game ever made for me. Outside of my nostalgic favorites, it has easily become my favorite game of all time. It truly deserves this spot on my list, and hopefully, it will on yours, too.

After beating this game twice, doing the Eye of the Universe ending and the bad ending, and sitting through all the end credits, I STILL have absolutely no ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ clue what the point of Outer Wilds was. I understand what I did — I explored planets, followed the Nomai's story, figured out the time loop, found the Vessel, reached the Eye and eventually ended the universe. But what did I actually accomplish? What was the point of doing all of this? What did I change? What was I supposed to understand? I genuinely feel like I finished the entire game twice and somehow walked away knowing less than when I started. Maybe that's the point. Maybe the game is about accepting that the universe ends and that the journey and the knowledge are the only things that matter. But if that's the message, it completely failed to land for me. I played Outer Wilds twice. I got the Eye of the Universe ending. I got the bad ending. I read all the ending subtitles. And I STILL DON'T ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ KNOW WHAT THE ♥♥♥♥ I WAS SUPPOSED TO DO OR WHY ANY OF IT MATTERED.
I still find myself thinking about this game, even though I completed it quite a while ago now. It's one of those games you wish you could completely erase from your memory just so you can experience it for the first time again. The only way you can really go wrong is by not going in blind. Don't look anything up. Don't spoil anything for yourself. Just play it and let yourself figure it out. Genuinely one of the most memorable games I've played.
