Outcast – Second Contact is the complete remake of the cult title which sparked the open world, action-adventure genre. Take off on an exploration of Adelpha, an alien world as beautiful as it is dangerous, where your heroic journey places the fate of two worlds in your hands.

Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.43/day in the week to Jul 22 → 0.38/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Super Spiel

Surprisingly fun RPG that gives me Star Wars KOTOR vibes but with real-time combat that has all the heartfelt, classic early '00s jankiness that we know and love. A military commander, sent through a interdimensional portal that's gone haywire to try to fix it on the "other side", gets swept up into a clash between a tyrannical empire and a rebel faction. You, Cutter Slade, are tasked with assisting the rebel forces against the evil Kroax and in return they will help you find the scientists who you were assigned to protect. So far the story itself seems pretty standard, and the way its told is pretty good. Graphically, aside from some bad textures here and there, the game looks great for its age and runs silky smooth. I'll take it over 25 FPS UnrealSlop with extra blur filters anyday. I can already tell this will be one that I see through to the end.
While the game is definitely dated, I found the writing charming, self-aware, and very funny. Good game overall, and from what I've read, a pioneering effort in 3rd person-shooters and adventure games.
Towards the end was a buggy mess. Finished the main game whilst my enemies were t posing. good stuff, didn't even get the achievement for finishing the game but.. overall I really enjoyed playing. This game was way ahead of its time when it came out, the original I mean. Second Contact gave new life with better graphics and polished gameplay including controller support and console releases. I definitely recommend this game and the other ones.
Jogaço! Nostalgia pura
Вот
I played the original back in the day and it was fantastic. It's really nice to re-live the Outcast experience, but with massively improved graphics and ui. There are a few bugs here and there, but nothing completely game breaking. I did finish the game, but Steam apparently doesn't know this. Anyway I had great time with this game. 8/10 from me.
This was a blast of nostalgia for me! I played the original version and the experience of being thrown into a beautiful alien world stuck with me over the years. Outcast is a very atmospheric game, with a wonderful cinematic soundtrack performed by a live choir and orchestra. If you've seen the movie "Stargate" you have a decent idea what this game is about. Dialogue is peppered with foreign words; you can usually work out what they mean from context. This version puts parentheticals defining the words into the subtitles, which is a bit annoying, frankly. The remake makes combat and platforming playable. They were always janky but over time had gotten unplayable in places. The feel of the original has been preserved. I don't know if I would recommend this to everyone, but if you like atmosphere and have some patience (and possibly a walkthrough handy), it's a rewarding experience. The game is huge, with a fair amount of tongue-in-cheek humor to leaven the worlds-saving drama. "Stable organic materials... detected!"
