Not too impressed with the game. I think BAM is far better. Bots are kinda lame as You can see in the videos I walk up and get head shots from a foot away. neat graphics as the bots appear to be wearing lipstick its kinda like a bad knock off you find at walmart in the clearence isle. play BAM its far better. maybe it will improve when I can play with real people and not bots but I think the guns firerates are kinda slow.
nope... pass on this one till thay come out with one hell of an update... bots suck guns suck maps suck online suck offline suck ... this game sucks... if there is a major update to be had then i may change my tone about this game but until then ill see you on BULLETS AND MORE multiplayer.
This is a really bad game, worse than the current reigning "King of Bad VR FPS" - Virtual Warfighter. Graphics are goofy and cartoon like and completely ripoff Counter Strike (along with the gameplay). AI Mode: This is just horrible, the AI just kinda hop around/ run in such a silly way. Then they bump into each other or just sit in a corner somewhere. There is no challenge to any of this. You will never feel immersed or excitement because of how amateur and cartoon like everything feels. For example, the reload is not done by hand, the guns do not shoot completely straight with sight alignment, bad shooting sounds, bad charactor animations, mediocre graphics, bad gameplay, bad AI, things are not good here... The project is DOA.
UPDATED REVIEW: Don’t expect to find anyone playing this online, the multiplayer is pretty much dead. And the single-player alone is simply not worth the 20$ unless you really like playing with primitive and predictable bots. I once saw potential in this game but now I’ve lost all hope for it. Oscar Mike VR was released in a bad condition, and there hasn’t been any effort from the developer to address the issues. In fact we’ve heard NOTHING from the developer since the game showed up on steam...
Here is my first time gameplay video: https://youtu.be/Ad434w_lEzk I also review other VR games on my channel: www.youtube.com/c/thefishstick Pros: -There are AI bots to practice against -I think the name is kind of cool -It says there is multiplayer The Rest: The graphics were dissappointing, there may have been a setting in the game to change them but if there was I did not see it. The AI are horrible and player models will intermittently dissappear then reappear. There is a not a very big weapons selection either. I didn't find the combat very fun either; there is not a lot of weapon recoil and whenever I stabbed someone with the knife it never would do any damage. There is no way to tell if anyone else is in multiplayer. You just select a map under the multiplayer menu and it drops you into a game (all of mine consisted of bots). It needs some sort of indication saying how many players are playing are in a map. I'm sorry but this game is not worth $19.99; it's $5 less than Onward and right now the price I'd put this game at is free. Do a demo / open beta and improve the game then stick a price tag on it. I'd be more than happy to try out the game again as it improves but not at this pricetag.
bon jeu ,mais où sont les joueurs en multi !!? ça manque cruellement !
Feels more like CS than other VR FPSs, which I prefer. Its fast paced, movement works like Onward but feels more responsive to me. Pros: Weapons look nice, sound nice, and shoot well. Nice maps Fast paced Cons: Reloading could maybe be different. One button reloads, while quick, doesnt feel immersive. Though it doesnt need to be as complicated as Onward either. Things I'd like to see in the future: An indoor map Another game mode like an escort/hostage rescuse could be cool Overall I enjoy the game and look forward to see where it goes.
