Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 1.71/day in the week to Aug 15 → 2.57/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,419 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Reviews
Not for me. I enjoyed creating smaller dense trap corridors in the previous titles. The levels are far too big and everything takes so long with the orcs wandering about through the many many paths.
Love the OMD series but Deathtrap has a serious bug that prevents me from giving a good review. When playing in co-op mode, your friend will sooner or later get dropped from the game due to some bad netcode or something. There is supposedly a Rejoin feature, but in my case when this bug occurs, the Rejoin option is not there. So your run is just over. It makes the game not worth playing unless you only want to do single player

Boring AF
Jeu sympa en coop, jamais joué aux jeux précédents mais ça vaut le coup. La durée de vie est plutôt longue, beaucoup de pièges sympa à tester, des maps variées....
Orcs were harmed in the making of this review
I think I saw enough to review it. It's firmly within the "recommend" field, despite some caveats. Let me start off with this: I hate roguelikes (or roguelites, distinction without a difference to me). Almost half of every indie game is within this genre though, so it's not like I don't play them. It's just that they leave me with the impression that "this game is good, but could've been even better with a proper progression curve and curated level design". OMDD is no different. It's indeed a good game. It's also my least favorite from the franchise (Unchained not included, that one is in a category of its own). I'm a big fan of tower defense games. The idea of combining tower defense with action games isn't something I prefer over the pure strategic ones, but the possibility for coop does add something unique to them. Sacntum 1/2, Dungeon Defenders, OMD 2/3, I love these games. Deathtrap expands the coop to 4 players, which is a plus, but the mission structure is a downgrade. I think the biggest problem with this game is how bad of a first impression it causes if you played previous games. OMD games usually reward efficiency above all else. Not a single mob can breach your defenses, and you can't stall for the best killbox results. It used to require perfection and speed, so you adapt your strategies to that. Whenever possible, you kill enemies at their gates to gain time. Slow traps do have their uses, but if they're spread too thin it bogs everything down. They need to be highly concentrated into a single hyper-efficient killbox. Deathtrap does not function this way. It's a score-based system. Sure, letting the rift intact is a bonus, but it's no longer required for the best results. And time can be pretty much ignored. Knowing this, you can make use of the free-but-limited barricades to great effect. Your goal this time is to stall. Accepting this, Deathtrap is a good game. That's not to say that the only problem with going roguelike is in the mindset of the player though. Because while Deathtrap offers tons of different upgrades and enough grinding to give completionists plenty to do, it gets stale really fast in-game. Optimizing your strategies are easier than ever, and there's very little reason to try new traps and layouts once you find something that is resilient and cheap to implement. The process of finding said traps is still fun, but you can reach that point far earlier in OMDD than the other three games. There's less maps this time around after all. I have to give their flowers when it's due though, their level design was impeccable this game. At least half of the map pool here is among my favorites in the franchise. Functionally complex and visually pretty. The "action" part of these games is also among the most refined it's been. I do miss being able to choose your own weapons/skills/gadgets, but this "hero" configurations wasn't bad. The TL;DR of this review is that OMDD is a weird experiment in a weird experiment genre. The game isn't bad and I think it's worth the price. I still hope future games don't follow this path though. This could work as a sort of "endless" additional mode to a proper OMD campaign, but as a standalone is... Incomplete, I would say. It's not that the game doesn't offer hours of content, it's that much of said hours isn't about doing the best a TD game can do, it's just going through the motions of setting the same map layout and adapting to random modifiers (both buffs and debuffs). It's more of an action roguelike coop game with more downtime than average, than it is a proper tower defense/action hybrid. Probably a great pick if you're the only one in your friend group that likes strategy games since you can do the heavy lifting of the setup phases, although it'll leave you wanting a bit on that department.
Orcs Must Die! Deathtrap is a solid and fun tower defense game. Some of the changes made me miss elements from previous Orcs Must Die! entries, but overall it still works well and remains enjoyable. It really shines when played with friends, though it’s also perfectly fine solo. Not the best in the series, but still a good time.
Arkadaşlarınızla oynayacaksanız her kuruşuna değer. - Karakter çeşitliliği ve özelleştirme az. - map tasarımları hoş ama daha fazla çeşit olabilirdi. - optimizasyonu pek iyi değil.
