For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,419 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Good game overall. Multiplayer has a bit of a lag sometimes especially if you are playing with a player from a different region. The thing about playing multiplayer is that for each player you lose a trap slot for each player playing. So if you are playing with four players then you have only four trap slots. You can unlock a trap slot through spending skulls on you war mage skill points that can lessen that by one slot but there is only one of them. They added some traps to this game compared to Orcs Must Die! 3 and changed a few traps. This game doesn't have war mode so they got rid of war mode traps. Another thing to note is sometimes it can be hard to find a lobby that wants to play with you. Overall I would say that this is a good game. Especially if you liked that other Orcs Must Die! games.
I like the game and have played it a lot but I have to ultimately not recommend it because of one of the problem is the change to the combat and loadout. THE GOOD -It's gameplay of the Tower Defense is still there and good -Great amount of traps -The Scramble from OMD3 style which I like -Barricades are free but takes a slot THE BAD -Barricades are free, but it takes a lot (And this is ties into the bottom point) -You're locked with one special trap to the character and you can't remove it. -Animation lock when you melee in midair, you're also tracking with the attack but have no mobility. A lot of my complains are the first two points of the bad. You're essentially nerfed to 7 traps only and have to make do with it. If the game wants to make it so that Barricades are free (Which is always picked barring certain styles of playing) but limited, I do think having it be separate from your core loadouts alongside that special trap (Yes, some character traps are good, but I think it should also be separate and not take an additional precious slot that you need.) option. You already are down to 7. Further, the weapon option is also a previous problem that adds into because you're able to swap weapons in the last previous games which makes sense why it takes a slot of its own but now, since there's no other weapon swap available. Why is it taking another slot when it could be just baked into the game itself? I can see this as a legacy design oversight since it's iconic, but I feel that in this case of the game. It should just be removed and made as part of the character, freeing up an additional slot to 8 at least (IF the devs just do not want to remove the barricade and special trap option.). The air melee also shouldn't lock you in place, I understand it's meant for tracking air units better but it crimps your mobility a lot and I do not think it's good (Personal taste however.). I like this franchise a lot, and I have supported the game with previous purchase of the series. Deathtrap is still fun, but I cannot recommend it because I fear that such design would carry forward without proper adjustment.

Fun multiplayer and single player, lots of traps and stuff to play with. Runs well and no issues on multiplayer. Story is basically non-existant, unlike some of the other games. Just kill 4 bosses for some reason. Maybe they had sex with your mom or something. On the downside, the number of enemies doesn't scale, they just get more hitpoints. Game runs out of fun after a while when you just get stuck hammering away at a low level mob that can kill you in one hit and has a billion HP to chisel away at. Could be fun with an expansion, but devs disabled discussion and just link to an invalid Discord invite. Get it on sale if you like the series.
Initially the game feels absolutely horrible without any upgraded traps or skill tree combined with the wall limit and RNG if you'll ever get any more. It does get better with time but still doesn't feel like a complete Orcs Must Die game and more so a DLC that could have been slapped onto the 3rd game and not having its own campaign with more or less random map choices doesn't help this. I like that they've added characters with unique abilities like they had in unchained but most of the cast are just generic humans that don't have anything about their design that makes them feel unique, especially when compared to the massive variety of playable races and personalities that we had in unchained. Also the HUD is insanely ugly and looks like its made for a mobile game, again comparing it to unchained its a night and day difference. The threads (the roguelike system) is alright but some are horribly under-tuned and there isn't a great spread across all the traps, some have a lot of amazing options and some have very little or they're flat out useless IMO. In general the game is fine for a discount but doesn't deliver in the Orcs Must Die part that makes it fit within the franchise
Been playing OMD since the beginning, I love the franchise (except unchained) and OMD DT is the best evolution yet. It feels like a more polished version of OMD3. I enjoyed the talent tree, the variety of characters and the challenge. Although many of the levels appear to be too large for a single player, the way the maps are scalable and change objective locations makes for a smaller feeling map with the use of barricades. The game looks great and runs smooth with Nvidia DLSS options. If i could add anything to this game it would be the ability to get levels from previous OMD games. Many of my favorite maps come from OMD1 and OMD2. I'd pay for DLC containing a selection of these maps. This is a no-brainer purchase for fans of the series, looking forward to future content!
my son said in his note that this game is why he ended his life
