Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 1.71/day in the week to Aug 15 → 2.57/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,404 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

As somone who has played all three Orcs Must Die games, multiple times, and on multiplayer co-op. and enjoyed all of them. This one feels like a hollow shell, like the skin of Orc Must Die was drapped over another game. There is no escalation in this game, the levels all seem huge, with mutiple entrances, and you start with enough currenacy to build and ennoumus number of traps, and 20+ free baricaded to route the Orcs, We don't build up from smaller levels, and don't have to be carful with trap choice. There is no Campain, you start a run and get a random selection of levels. All the enmies appear to be diluted, the small orc and healivy armoured orc? die just the same, easily, the trolls? orges? insteead of a force to be recokened with who push tgrough all your traps, they go down in seconds. The Fast Kobolt, who used to speed past your traps? easily struck by basic traps, arrows and the celling balista. There are a bunch of new enemies and despiste seeing them, i couldn't tell what set them apart besides looks. Playing a level is spending all your coins and standing bored at the rift, I feel like the game might be to easy becuase you are given so many resources to start with, and the enimeys are to easily delt with.
Very bad performance. 2070 Super, Ryzen 3600 — 30 FPS without DLSS on High. DLSS Performance + Medium = 55 60 FPS. Default High + DLSS Balance = 45 FPS. Wow.
Worse than OMD 3 due to the lack of enemies on screen, & it took away guardian traps. Worse than OMD unchained due to the lack of decent playable characters, granted that was the best one out of the i.p with the best roster this i.p ever had. playable orcs, ogres, knolls, dwarves,Beastlom, etc. Also the pvevp was decent. Pros 1.Bringing back the ability to play as non humans,Give me unchains diversity. Not this bland line up. 2.Decent art style. Cons 1.It crashed on me causing us to lose all of our progress that run. It's the main reason i put it as a don't recommend. 2.The lack of unique & interesting traps, Worse of all the removal of guardian traps. There is no reason not to let us summon out dwarves, elves, humans like in the last few games. Hell let me place dragons for flame throwers. guardian traps are not a new concept to this i.p, they make it feel like the forces of good actually give a sh*t when you are allowed to have your forces on the field helping like in omd3. 3.The design for these characters are trash to eh. Vaan - A ugly elf. Wren - Basic b*tch human for the modern audience. Harlow - Basic b*tch human with a fay dragon, i wanted a fat dragon. Mac - A ugly crack addict nightcrawler wannabe. Kalos - A bearman, i'm fine with him but nothing special. Boring play style. Sophie - Just a >cat< girl that summons out a basic undead instead of summoning out anything cool. 4.The lack of customization in this game, the best looking outfits is paid walled for 10 bucks, while everything else looks like low effort trash. oh wow you turned my blue outfit red. 5.Really needed a summoner character which all of it's moves would summon out a different type of unit. Also a shape shiftier would of been great.
Seems like DEI got ahold of this one along with Tencent financial backers. Game released in what feels an early access and no support since, I would recommend picking this up on sale only. I am not recommending due to the price point vs content
Issues with graphics, crashes, floors flickering and poor performance. Gameplay wise its ok. Too few maps with too litte diversity imo. Not worth
Honestly I love the Orcs Must Die franchise. Its a game my wife and I really love playing together. But this installment was a bit of a let down. The characters besides the original 2 and the animals are so obnoxious and annoying hearing them talk every 5 seconds. the way the game is formatted is also not as fun as the first 3. I'm happy I got to play it but I don't think I'll be picking it up again. I'm gonna go play 2 and 3 again.
