For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,402 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

I've been playing this game series since inception. Death trap is ok.. I have played it a lot.. what sucks about it is how lazy who ever made the maps was.. nothing fits right.. it's just lazy.. plain sad and lazy...
Why are the lanes so wide? 5 tile wide lanes with limited barricades is just brutal. It's not hard, it's just annoying cause it invalidates the usage of some traps, especially certain wall traps. I played solo and tried really hard to enjoy my time but it just didn't give me nearly as much satisfaction as the original Orcs Must Die. Not to mention the healthbars and damage numbers feel like place holders, just static plain font text with no flare whatsoever. I think the largest problem this game has is by far the map design. Since the game is for up to 4 players they have made the maps all HUGE with 4 doors on most maps. There are some horrible maps out that simple don't have chokepoints to funnel orcs into without using most of your barricades. You can't create your own funnel on them with the barricades you have because if you did you'll have 4 other lanes flowing towards your rift or WORSE you'll have 2 lanes that open up near staircases that make trap placement impossible without the additional barricades. You can't place traps on slopes and wall traps have limited effects on stairs without the initial L shaped turn so you wind up becoming the soul reason that specific lane isn't able to not reach your rift since you have such limited trap placement. I REALLY want to love this game, but it feels like due to the focus on 4 player multiplayer they have sort of shafted solo players. You'll spend most of your time SPRINTING gate to gate on some maps making it so you can't even see the carnage your traps are doing. 22 Barricades just isn't enough solo, but SOME maps are perfect for it. There's 1 map in particular that is just 2 parallel staircases. Make an L shape barricade on each staircase turn and you have a good choke that funnels orcs against the walls to take Ceiling, wall, and floor trap damage. Not to mention the final straight away to your 2 rifts isn't insanely wide. It was the only map where it felt like i was playing Orcs Must Die which is a shame. There was one other map early on but to save time i won't talk about it. If you have friends who are interested in the series this might be worth the purchase but alone you might struggle to enjoy your experience. I didn't even mention the "roguelike" mechanics that honestly do nothing for me because of how incredibly simplistic they are. Simple damage buffs or for some reason Rift buffs that you almost never want to choose cause you rarely want orcs getting that close. Not to mention the Warmages are just kinda lame, they don't do anything but look boring and say annoying voicelines. I would have much preferred something along the lines of orcs must die 1 where i can pick weapons and place them into trap slots. You can probably still enjoy this game, but if you have 1 friend just go play Orcs Must Die 2 or 3. The map design is significantly better and even the original game still holds to this day.

TLDR: It's not bad, but it doesn't feel good. Too much RNG and they've removed the freedom of choice in specilized playstyle. it makes it feel like I'm wasting time instead of enjoying it. it look, sound and otherwise feels good in actual gameplay. but yeah, the mistplaced RNG is a real buzzkill here, since it remove the game from the genres I play it for. it no longer feel like a proper Action TD. I believe it can still be somewhat enjoyed with friends though, maybe. But for solo experience, it's a waste of my time. --- Most of the previous Orcs Must Die games are in my "hall of fame" of games I've enjoyed over the years. This one however is mediocre at best. There is far too much RNG everywhere, making me wonder if one of the decision making devs got adicted to RNG at some point... for me however, it's a total buzzkill. When I start playing, I can't select maps. The "story progression" is hidden behind RNG map selection where I have to waste time grinding through them to continue. the story itself.. I can't even remember at this point. wa there a story in this game? from the earlier games, I kind of can still remember quotes when starting up certain maps in the story progression. While in the game itself... I now have to grind waves to be allowed to HAVE A CHANCE of getting the upgrades and specilizations I want for the weapons/traps I've used the most. so how I enjoy playing the game is not how I actually get to play the game. I almost have to grind a map or two before being sure I got the setup I want, and then be LUCKY to get the map I want. in previous games, I had to make decisions by considering pros and cons of different specilizations and go with the one that I liked most in my playstyle, figuring it out through trial and error, enjoying the process of progress and developing my way of playing and thinking around the game. The RNG in this game is for me ridiculous. I can see some benefit for friends grinding out simply killing orcs and progressing difficulty to have a bit of a randomized challenge. but that would then be a choice of gamemode, not the core gameplay. if you're going for achievements, it's a waste of time since you can't select what you want to progress without trying to work through the RNG while grinding through multiple maps and be lucky to have the correct combination of them. I'm personally currently locked at trying to get night maps as a certain character, and they never come as a first option from what I can tell. it forces me to grind through a map to have 3 randomized options available where IF I'M LUCKY, there MAY be an option I need. the RNG is too much of a waste of time. it doesn't feel very TD-like and overall really kills my fun. if it was a separate gamemode, I can see having fun with it along with some friends if they get the game, but that's it. if we completely ignore that core aspect of the game, the graphics and game feel overall is very similar to the older games and the banter and jokes are still awesome. the music is as also good as usual. I really want to like the game, and in a way.. it's pretty good. but the frustration in forced RNG is not why I play these genres. this does not feel like an action TD for me as it limit my freedom of choice too much, leaving it to chance. feeling forced to waste time for a chance, not a result of choices and strategy.
I didn't know what I was getting into when I got this game I should have realised they were ruining it when they changed things in 3 and didn't meet their promises about it from before release but I still had faith enough to get deathtrap but well I didn't know about the game between those two or that Deathtrap didn't have an endless until months after getting it ... the game is a disrespectful departure from those that came before it it needlessly changes guardians from a class of trap to a map feature and weakens them significantly, it carries over almost no traps from those that came before beyond the ones that have always been in the game and worse than that it trys to change the formula of the game completely by 1. adding more extreme rouge like mechanics that A. replace trap upgrades and trap paths B. can't be permanently Equiped or enabled C. have no consistent triggers for unlock or activation. These Rouge like mechanics are called threads and have replaced most of the games old custom features some traps and the upgrades completely some upgrades do still exist but they are extremely basic and don't do anything other than reduce reset time increase damage or other minor effects. while some new and exciting creative features do exist and the game has expanded to allow more players to play together it imposes heavy penalties for this not only reducing the number of traps you can bring with you for each extra player but also maintaining the number of barricades you start with despite having more players and yeah I said start with you only get a limited number of barricades and you can't buy more you have to get lucky and get more from threads that some times only increase you barricades not your whole teams there is a new barricade trap that decreases the reset time of traps next to it but it takes up an extra trap slot and costs money which is in more limited supply in this game than any other due to their NOT BEING AN ENDLESS MODE ... yeah you read that right the game that's all about cool traps killing Orcs in over the top ways got rid of it's most beloved feature endless mode. this game is a mess it Knows where it came from and wants to ride that legacy to success while at the same time it doesn't understand a single thing that made it so legendary in the first place it feels like they blindfolded themselves filled a bucket with Tropes from the previous games and new Ideas threw them at a wall but didn't take what stuck to the wall but what fell to the ground instead. This game is a mess that doesn't know what it was meant to be or what it wants to be DON'T BUY IT!
from game 1 to 2 and 3 you nerfed us from having fun ..... to make it "harder" but its just anoying make it fun again please
Utter disappointment after OMD and OMD 2. This part is complete S H I T T Y T R A S H. They ruined everything they could. What did the developers spend their time on if absolutely everything in the game was done for the worse and there was not even any convenience for the players? Even ancient flash games have a better interface. Who was involved in UI design here anyway? A kindergarteners? Traps have lost their meaning, before they could have been evolved and changed the meaning of their use, they could be combined and studied, but now you just increase the damage. There is zero interest, it is not clear at all which enemies will go, how many waves there will be, but this crap system is a "roguelike", game improvements in the form of cards to choose from after each wave. The developers put a bolt on the players, that's all. Even to paint in the trash. It's better to play the first two parts. At least the originality and humor have been preserved there.
Worse than OMDU, Hands down. I honestly thought OMD3 was bad but this is just embrassing, It's a downgrade to OMDU and 3. Only reason why its bought because, This studio is the only one who can make a 3D tower defense and make it well, fun and playable. You can't find no others like OMD. This is the only reason why i spent for OMDD to support them for one day, for them to bring back OMDU or something similar or better than OMDD. No DLCs, The updates were meh, challenges barely came out and it hardly makes a difference.
