I've just finished my first run-through, and the game seems to offer at least 3 others. This seems comparable in quality to other Y Press Games I've enjoyed - particularly Alpha Hole Prison. It starts off pretty early with some hot and heavy sex, but later, the plot is actually well-written. Like with Alpha Hole Prison, the characters all have backstories that are engaging. As other reviewers have mentioned, *some* of the images are in black and white, but not the majority. From my playthrough so far I'd say the ratio is about 3 color images for every 1 black and white image, so it's not as if the majority of the game is in black and white. Overall, I'd recommend for fans of the genre.
Fantastic storytelling and gorgeous art!
huge downgrade from Alpha Hole Prison, but still somewhat enjoyable dirty visual novel. Kinda weird how its sometimes in black and white? Short story with minimal decisions. No voice acting. Only get if you really like orcs
Great story! I followed the Kurdan path and was impressed with the writing. Plus the orcs are hot! Great bara style artwork. This game is impressive - nice work!
I will start by stating that I don't have a lot of knowledge about or experience with this genre. My favorite games by this developer have been Alpha Hole Prison and Manservant. This particular game caught my attention because of the orcs and how that seemed to be unique. Also, there seemed to be this interplay going on between elves and orcs. That and I personally found the avatar to be rather attractive, but that is probably because I really like elves. And then the game giving the option to have me enter the head space of a naughty elf being disciplined by orcs. I guess that just does it for me. So, this is a game for me. I do understand if it is not for someone else. This game just happened to tick so many boxes for me. Does this mean that I can recommend it to others? Maybe. Possibly. I know that I liked having Dagroth and Karn see right through my schemes. And I liked how Kurdan was a patient brat tamer. The game gives some freedom to be good or bad, and I liked that. Sometimes you just need to be a bad elf. Would I like more choices? Yes. I will always want more choices. And I will always want the option to be bad in the game. However, I realize that I may be a niche type of gamer. Now as far as the orcs. Did I like them? Do I think they are too "pretty"? Personally, I think they are okay. For me, the main thing is the green color, the muscles, the beefiness, and being hairy in the right places. I guess as long as the orc doesn't look like it came from a beauty salon then I am okay. Do the orcs in the game look this way, like they came out of a salon? Honestly, yes. Does this make me like the orcs less? I don't know. They do still seem pretty cool. In the end, it was the direction the art went, and I am okay with that. The overall core reason I purchased the game was met. However, I do feel the price was a bit too much even with the discount. Still, I could pony up for this and not feel cheated. Again, that is me. I encourage others to evaluate this for themselves. Ultimately, it was Xareth's butt that made me purchase, again I love elves. So if this developer does anything more with elves, it is probably an automatic buy from me. In closing, this was a long review, and I don't know much about this developer. However, I will say thank you for introducing me to this world and giving an outlet for people like me to explore our interests. This game might not have been perfect, but it had its moments where it was both fun and touching to me. So, with that said, I will give my recommendation with the caveat to others to do their research, perhaps with a demo, to see if this game is for them.
The art's gorgeous. There's a mix of full color and black and white images. Only made it through one route so far fully, but seems fairly heavily bottom-pov-focused if that's your vibe. Like most visual novels, the choices are a bit limited on the way to your end route and the pacing in character is manic - expect love to happen in the span of a week rather than over months. That said, it's still fun so if you've got the cash or it hits your particular itch, go for it.
Hey people, it's a good game. Same high quality as their other big games and the Monster Ops one recently. I've seen enough to tell I'm getting the goods. If there's some big flaw that they hid on the description or something I'll edit this. And yeah, big games like this that go all out with the art cost more. I don't expect this to be cheap. To me it's worth it.
BORING NOT ANIMATED; OR EVEN COLORED
After 100% the game I can say I enjoyed my time with it. I would say I wish some routes like Yundrils had more content/cg's with him and less stuff with Kurdan. Also the special characters like the demon, other orcs, and the random wolf guy should probably have had a cg or two as well especially since this is one of their more expensive games. But overall I enjoyed the music, cg's, art and characters. Only other thing I would say is I wish we got some more story/settings of the places characters will talk about like the old orc city or a bit more stuff with the demons since it really is only in one route. We got a bit of that in some of Dagroth's endings with the elf city and castle/tavern but everything else pretty much takes place in the orc camp and forest with just different backgrounds of forest locations which aren't super visually interesting setting wise imo. The wraith cliffs area was cool but was also just a short bit there in a few routes. Either way if you like ypress's other games I would say to check this out or if you even just like muscular orcs give it a shot too as it isn't too long
Fun game. Extremely sexy. Not yaoi but is more manly stuff. People looking for yaoi need to go elsewhere. This is more hardcore with lots of variety and pretty good story imo.
