Orbyss est une véritable pépite dans le genre puzzle-réflexion. Dès les premières minutes, son univers futuriste bioluminescent vous happe : des sphères d’énergie à contrôler, des mécanismes inattendus et une narration silencieuse mais immersive. Pas besoin de passer en mode “skill extrême” ; ici, c’est l’intelligence et l’ingéniosité qui sont mises à l’honneur. Les puzzles sont élégants, bien conçus, et ne cherchent jamais à frustrer.

I’m genuinely impressed by Orbyss! It's an outstanding achievement from a solo developer! From the first moment you dive in, the game grabs you with its striking visual style, elegant design, and a clever gameplay hook: switching between orbs. The other mechanics are great as well (the freeze time arrives soon and brings really interresting situations). It's clear that every detail has been crafted with care. Huge congratulations to you, and I can’t wait to see what you create next!

It's good when a puzzle game has atmosphere that's pleasing just to bumble aimlessly around in as you wait for your solution to cohere. This one has that, at least, it did for me. Oh, to be an orb in an orb's machine.

Le jeu est vraiment très immersif. Grâce à la musique et aux graphismes vous êtes plongés dans le monde d'Orbyss. La difficulté est graduelle et les tuto permettent de ne pas se retrouver bloqué. Franchement je recommande !

Un jeu de réflexion très bien réalisé, qui m'a bien fait travailler les neurones! Edit: je viens de découvrir que ce jeu est l'oeuvre d'un dev solo qui y a passé plus de 10 ans. Chapeau bas c'est de la belle ouvrage! Jamais je n'aurais deviné! Voici le début de ma partie: https://youtu.be/DFdO1IHLpTE Il me fait penser à Q.U.B.E. pour les environnements 3D épurés et aussi à Cocoon pour son level design qui introduit les niveaux et les nouvelles mécaniques de façon très progressive. Nous déplaçons une sphère dans des niveaux en 3D futuristes, pour actionner différents mécanismes afin d'atteindre la fin du niveau. L'ajout régulier de nouvelles mécaniques garde l'expérience fraiche(pousser/tirer d'autres sphères, puis se téléporter d'une sphère à l'autre, puis geler la chute des sphères...etc.) Pour les perfectionnistes, il est possible de réussir les niveaux en faisant plus ou moins d'opérations de "téléportation" et le jeu les comptabilise ce qui laisse la place à de l'optimisation.

I absolutely adored this game.....great mix of clever puzzling and fun adventuring. Puzzles are quite varied despite the games fairly simple premise, the environment is quite absorbing, and the control mechanism is great with just enough auto control (i.e. magnetism) to make navigating exciting but not frustrating. One of those games that was so much fun to play, that I ended up restrarting it several times before I finished just so I could enjoy it again and get more adept before finishing.

Really love the feeling of this game and the peacefull sound design. Controls of the sphere are very smooth and very satisfactory. Advanced puzzles can be challenging but that is the whole purpose of this kind of game !
