Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0/day in the week to Aug 1 → 0/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

This is an excellent puzzle game which introduces consistently fun and inventive new mechanics throughout the entire game. It also has excellent achievements which add an additional level of challenge and replayability. Also has excellent visuals and music. Highly recommended.
A very respectable entry into the genre with some cool ideas
Difficulty: ★★★☆☆ Extra challenges difficulty: ★★★★☆ At its core, it is a fairly traditional puzzle platformer with very solid puzzle design all around. All mechanics you will see here you probably have seen elsewhere already, but their combinations are interesting and fresh. Most puzzle ideas were fun to play with, however, I was personally not fan of the sound-based puzzles at all in chapter 4 and 7 (though your mileage may vary), but they weren't too bad with the accessibility setting. My favourite mechanics were the programmable drone, command, freeze and switch. Many puzzles lean heavily into timing and pre-planning your moves. If you want some extra challenge after you beat the game, try the achievement level restrictions. They can be pretty hard and lean into the gimmicks, physics and -sometimes- exploits of the game, forcing you to work around the 'normal' solution. Some are just perfect plays, some completely change how you solve the levels, some require precise timing or dexterity. The game runs butter smooth, no jank with the physics, the audio and sound design is great, and the visuals are sharp and beautiful. Even though Orbyss is not a trailblazer on any front, it is a good and well designed experience for such a small team.

It's good when a puzzle game has atmosphere that's pleasing just to bumble aimlessly around in as you wait for your solution to cohere. This one has that, at least, it did for me. Oh, to be an orb in an orb's machine.
Orbyss is a beautifully crafted puzzle adventure developed and published by Misty Whale that demonstrates how thoughtful design and creative mechanics can transform a simple concept into an unforgettable experience. Set within a mysterious world of glowing structures, ancient technology, and spreading darkness, the game invites players to solve increasingly intricate puzzles while gradually uncovering the secrets of a fragile digital ecosystem. Rather than relying on action or spectacle, Orbyss builds its identity around logic, experimentation, and exploration, resulting in a puzzle journey that feels both intellectually rewarding and emotionally engaging. The foundation of the gameplay revolves around a unique mechanic that allows players to control and switch between multiple Orbs. These energy-based entities serve as both the protagonists and the primary tools used to overcome obstacles. What makes the concept particularly compelling is how the game encourages players to think about cooperation even though the experience is entirely single-player. Many puzzles require careful coordination between different Orbs, creating situations that resemble solving cooperative challenges without needing additional players. This inventive approach gives the game a distinctive identity and opens the door to a wide range of creative puzzle designs. One of the most impressive aspects of Orbyss is the way it introduces new mechanics. The game avoids overwhelming players with information and instead unfolds gradually, teaching concepts through practical application. Every new ability feels meaningful because it expands the possibilities of existing systems rather than replacing them. Over time, players gain access to mechanics involving time manipulation, environmental interaction, drones, sound-based devices, and increasingly complex Orb coordination. Each addition broadens the puzzle-solving toolkit and keeps the experience fresh throughout the adventure. The puzzle design consistently stands out because of its emphasis on reasoning rather than reflexes. Challenges rarely depend on precise timing or fast reactions. Instead, they encourage observation, planning, and experimentation. Players are asked to understand how various systems interact and then use that knowledge to discover solutions. This creates a satisfying learning process where even difficult puzzles feel fair. Success comes from understanding the game's logic rather than overcoming artificial obstacles, making every breakthrough feel genuinely earned. Variety is another major strength. Although the game remains focused on puzzle-solving from beginning to end, it continually introduces new scenarios and combinations of mechanics that prevent repetition. Just when players become comfortable with a particular idea, the game finds a way to evolve it into something more sophisticated. This steady progression maintains engagement and ensures that the experience remains stimulating even during its later stages. The world itself plays a significant role in making the adventure memorable. Orbyss takes place within a visually striking environment that blends science fiction and abstract fantasy. Glowing landscapes, mysterious structures, and vibrant energy patterns create a setting that feels both beautiful and enigmatic. Every area possesses its own atmosphere while contributing to the larger sense of mystery surrounding the world. Exploration is rewarding because players are constantly discovering new environments that expand their understanding of the setting. The narrative adopts a subtle approach that complements the puzzle-focused gameplay. Rather than relying on lengthy cutscenes or extensive dialogue, the story unfolds through environmental details and gradual discoveries. Players learn about the world, its decline, and the role of the Orbs through observation and progression. This restrained storytelling style encourages curiosity and allows players to interpret events for themselves. The result is a narrative that enhances the experience without distracting from the core gameplay. Visually, the game is stunning despite its minimalist tendencies. The contrast between luminous environments and the darkness threatening to consume them creates a powerful aesthetic identity. Lighting effects, vibrant colors, and elegant environmental design combine to produce a world that feels alive and constantly intriguing. The art direction succeeds because it balances beauty with functionality, ensuring that puzzle elements remain easy to identify without sacrificing visual appeal. The soundtrack is equally effective. Ambient compositions accompany exploration and puzzle-solving with a calm, atmospheric quality that enhances concentration. The music never dominates the experience but instead acts as a subtle companion that reinforces the game's sense of wonder and introspection. Combined with carefully designed sound effects, the audio presentation contributes significantly to the overall immersion. Accessibility is another area where the game demonstrates thoughtful design. Visual alternatives for audio-based mechanics ensure that important information remains available to a wider range of players. This attention to inclusivity reflects the care that has been invested in the overall experience and helps make the game's challenges accessible without reducing their complexity. For dedicated puzzle enthusiasts, the game offers additional reasons to return after completing the main journey. Optional objectives, achievements, and opportunities to discover more efficient solutions provide meaningful replay value. Many puzzles can be approached from different angles, rewarding players who enjoy optimizing strategies and mastering mechanics beyond the requirements of simple completion. Perhaps the most remarkable aspect of Orbyss is the level of craftsmanship evident throughout the project. Every puzzle feels carefully considered, every mechanic serves a purpose, and every environment contributes to the larger atmosphere. There is a clear sense that the game was developed with patience and passion, resulting in an experience that feels polished and cohesive from beginning to end. Orbyss ultimately stands as an exceptional example of modern puzzle game design. Its innovative Orb-switching mechanics, consistently strong puzzle construction, atmospheric worldbuilding, and elegant presentation combine to create an adventure that remains engaging throughout its entire duration. It challenges players without frustrating them, rewards curiosity, and continually introduces new ideas that keep the experience fresh. For anyone who appreciates intelligent puzzle design, immersive environments, and carefully crafted progression, Orbyss is a highly rewarding experience. It proves that puzzle games can be both mentally stimulating and emotionally captivating, delivering a journey that lingers in memory long after the final challenge has been solved. Rating: 8/10

Some really involved puzzles! I'm really enjoying it so far.
I'm a fan of Portal games and puzzle games like this in general, and this one really surprised me with the quality of its level design. I finished the game in around 6 hours, and there are still the bonus levels to do. The visuals, the feel, the music, and the atmosphere are all successful. I didn’t really understand if there is an actual story, but the different cinematics are pleasant to watch. I really recommend this game — it is one of my favorite puzzle games.
I enjoyed playing with my big balls.

The sound design and music are equally impressive, creating an immersive ambiance that kept me fully engaged throughout the experience. The puzzle mechanics are clever and satisfying, striking a perfect balance in difficulty — never too easy, never frustratingly hard. Each challenge feels thoughtfully designed, rewarding you with a great sense of progression. If you enjoy well-crafted puzzles wrapped in a beautiful audiovisual experience, Orbyss is definitely worth your time. Highly recommended!
Several fun ideas and a nice visual style. I really enjoyed my time with this.
