Cozy and satisfying, yet chaotic and challenging - a surprising blend, but it works really well. Very nice and fitting music. It's a cool game!
This is what I would consider a "physics puzzler," similar to games like iO, or Ink. Not an incredibly long game, but the first to last level (54 of 55) is a bit difficult. Not sure how long it will take me to beat the last two levels, but I've only spent around 90 minutes on the game so far. There is also a rating system for each of the levels--measured in "circles." So if you're a perfectionist you can work on getting three circles for each level. Though, there is no indication of how many clicks you're allowed for each level to get the highest rating, and the difficulty is a little inconsistent. The game does a great job of a theoretical difficulty curve, with the gradual introduction of new elements and orb types, but I've hit three circles on several of the levels in the middle of the pack without trying, whereas the early levels I've actively worked toward getting the highest rating, and just can't do it. Nice calming music. The orb sounds are oddly soothing and ASMR-like. There are some interesting concepts for the levels and mechanics that force you to really think about where you have to click to collect as many orbs as possible. Each orb type has its own specific physics, and the later levels introduce elements that change the behavior of the bouncing for each type of orb in addition to the orbs interacting with, and bouncing off, of each other. I've been playing the game on my Deck. It runs okay, but could use some optimization. The later levels inexplicably tax the system to the point where the fans kick up and the battery starts to drain. Would be a great mobile game. My wife wasn't interested in it until I showed her that she could touch the screen to place the black holes to capture the orbs, and after that she was hooked. Overall, it is a fun experience, but could use a little refinement.
A simple but enjoyable clicker game that gets more challenging over time. Totally worth the price.
Orbs Orbs Orbs is a minimalist physics-based puzzle game created by Acrylic Pixel Games that revolves around timing, observation, and carefully triggered chain reactions. At first glance the concept appears extremely simple: players must clear every orb present on the screen using as few actions as possible. However, beneath that simple premise lies a surprisingly layered puzzle experience built around dynamic physics interactions and unpredictable movement patterns. The game challenges players not only to react quickly but also to think ahead, studying how objects interact with one another before deciding when and where to act. The primary mechanic of the game revolves around creating expanding rings that interact with the floating orbs scattered across each level. By clicking the screen, the player generates a circular pulse that expands outward before gradually disappearing. Any orb that touches the ring during its expansion is destroyed instantly. Because the player is often limited in how many clicks they can use to clear a level efficiently, the goal becomes finding the perfect moment to place the ring so that it triggers a chain reaction capable of eliminating multiple orbs in a single move. When executed correctly, a single click can cascade through the entire level as moving orbs collide with the expanding ring or with each other. What makes this mechanic particularly engaging is the constant motion of the orbs themselves. They bounce, roll, and collide with surfaces in unpredictable ways, influenced by gravity and the level’s layout. Players must observe these movements closely and anticipate how the orbs will travel across the stage before placing their ring. Acting too early may eliminate only a small portion of the orbs, while waiting too long may allow the orbs to scatter in ways that make efficient solutions impossible. Each puzzle becomes a balance between patience and timing, encouraging players to carefully analyze the situation before committing to an action. As players progress through the game, new types of orbs are introduced that change the way puzzles behave. Each type possesses a distinct property that alters the flow of the physics interactions. Some orbs are larger and slower, making them easier to predict but harder to manipulate with precise timing. Others are small and extremely fast, darting across the level in ways that make them difficult to intercept. Certain orbs behave unpredictably, bouncing erratically and disrupting carefully planned strategies. These variations force players to adapt their thinking with each new level, ensuring that the puzzles continue to evolve rather than repeating the same patterns. One of the more interesting mechanics introduced later in the game involves orbs that multiply when struck. Instead of disappearing when hit, these special orbs split into additional smaller orbs that continue moving across the level. This mechanic transforms simple puzzles into chaotic chain reactions where a single click can create a flurry of new movement across the board. Players must anticipate how these new orbs will behave and ensure that the expanding ring or subsequent collisions eventually eliminate them all. This layer of complexity makes certain levels feel more like managing a dynamic system than solving a static puzzle. Environmental features further enhance the variety of the puzzles. Levels are not simply empty spaces filled with moving spheres. Many stages include platforms, barriers, and moving mechanical elements that influence the direction and speed of the orbs. Some platforms tilt like seesaws, causing orbs to roll in new directions depending on their weight and position. Other areas contain blocks that can be destroyed, opening new pathways for the orbs to travel. Certain zones may repel or attract orbs, altering their trajectories and forcing players to rethink their approach. These environmental interactions gradually increase the complexity of the puzzles as the game progresses. The structure of the game is divided into a series of handcrafted levels that steadily build upon one another. Early stages act as introductions to the basic mechanics, allowing players to become familiar with how rings interact with the orbs. As new orb types and environmental mechanics are introduced, the puzzles begin to demand more careful observation and experimentation. By the time players reach the later stages, they must often consider multiple variables at once, predicting how several different types of orbs will interact with each other and with the level’s layout. A scoring system encourages players to refine their strategies and find more efficient solutions. Each level can be completed with varying degrees of efficiency depending on how many clicks are used. The fewer clicks required to clear the board, the higher the rating awarded to the player. This creates an additional layer of challenge beyond simply finishing the level. Even after solving a puzzle once, players may return to it in an attempt to discover a more elegant solution that eliminates all orbs with a single perfectly timed action. Visually, the game embraces a vibrant and minimalist aesthetic. The backgrounds are simple and unobtrusive, allowing the colorful orbs and glowing rings to stand out clearly against the screen. Each orb type is represented by a distinct color, making it easy to identify its behavior at a glance. The visual clarity is particularly important because the game relies heavily on tracking the motion of many objects simultaneously. By keeping the design clean and readable, the developers ensure that players can focus on analyzing the puzzle rather than being distracted by unnecessary visual details. The audio design complements this minimalist style with soft and satisfying sound effects that accompany each interaction. When rings collide with orbs, gentle chimes and pops create a sense of rhythm that reinforces the chain reactions occurring on screen. The game’s audio atmosphere leans toward a calming tone, almost meditative at times, which contrasts nicely with the chaotic motion of the puzzles themselves. This balance between relaxing sound design and fast-moving gameplay gives the experience a unique atmosphere. One of the most appealing aspects of the game is how it blends moments of tranquility with bursts of chaotic activity. Some puzzles require long periods of observation before making a single decisive move, while others quickly explode into a cascade of interactions once the first ring is triggered. Watching a perfectly planned chain reaction unfold across the screen can be incredibly satisfying, especially when dozens of orbs disappear in rapid succession. Despite its clever mechanics, the game’s minimalist nature means that it remains focused almost entirely on its puzzle system. Players looking for narrative elements or multiple gameplay modes may find the experience somewhat limited. However, for fans of abstract puzzle design, this focused approach allows the game to explore its central mechanics in depth without unnecessary distractions. Overall, Orbs Orbs Orbs is a thoughtfully designed physics puzzle game that demonstrates how a simple idea can evolve into a deeply engaging challenge. Its combination of dynamic movement, diverse orb behaviors, and environmental interactions creates puzzles that feel both unpredictable and rewarding to solve. The bright visual presentation and soothing audio design give the game a distinctive personality, while the scoring system encourages players to keep refining their strategies. For players who enjoy experimental puzzle games that reward patience and careful observation, Orbs Orbs Orbs offers a charming and intellectually satisfying experience. Rating: 6/10
level 46 is not possible to complete also there is no option to just free play the game without having to worry about how much times you use the rings
