This is quite the unique puzzle type game. Not in a bad way of course! This is a simple laid out game consisting of multiple levels with one goal: to get to the ending portal. Being a fire ball (well I think thats how to define the character haha) one moves through a 2D maze by jumping on various platforms (think doodle jump). These various platforms are unlocked with specific ‘particle powers’ found in the specific map. This means that too unlock a certain plattform you might need one power that you have to get first - otherwise you cant reach the ending portal. Further, these ‘particle powers’ when activated light up the surrounding area for a few seconds in various ways too aid you in coordinating yourself. Abit like slenderman but don't worry - this doesn't make it a horror game at all. It just adds to the challenging factor. The levels start of easy too progressively get more difficult. However, don't let this scare you! There’s not too much brain power required to pass the levels. Just abit of thinking to remember your route and joystick skills when jumping and activating specific powers.
Okay, now you know what the game, about but how does it run? Amazing! This doesn't require a crazy PC or anything yet runs at amazing graphics with no type of lag. The colours of this game are colorful and mesmerizing next to the black background of the levels too. Just make sure to blink enough as you can easily forget that playing this game. This is one of those games that you start of normally until you realize youre addicted to solving them levels. Too top it off: The game measures your completion time per level to put you in a leaderboard of everyone who ever played that level. For those into speedruns this is awesome feature to flex on your fellow gamers. Or just if you want to beat your friends scores. Whatever you feel like
Lastly, the questions everyone has been waiting for: Do I recommend this game? Yes. However, like all games, there are some suggestions that will improve the game - not that its suffering now.
First, I believe this game should get more levels. But considering its still small its okay for now. Too complete this game at a normal pace I would say its around 3 hours. Maybe increase that too around 5-10 in the future? Secondly, the level selector got a issue at the time of writing. When you play a level and quit before reaching the ending portal you cant go back - instead you must complete the previous level too continue onto the level you stopped at. Other than that I got nothing to complain about. Perfect puzzle type game, unique and colorful. 10/10 would recommend!
